Perfect for Homeschoolers - Great Value - Kid and Mother Approved!
I was on the hunt for a new homeschool planner for me to use to keep track of my son's work when I came across this. It's just the thing I never knew I needed. Now, my son can be involved in the planning and execution of his lessons, too!WHAT I LOVE1. LAMINATED COVER. Anyone who has a child prone to spilling things will understand why, lol.2. VITAL STATS. Most planners have a contact info section to fill out in case it gets lost. This one went the extra mile by having something like an "about me" section where you can record contact info as well as age, grade, favorite food, favorite color, and height (among other things). They even have a little section to put a picture. Since I plan to keep this for our records, that is really cool to me.3. THE RESOURCE PAGES. When I read the listing, I saw that the planner comes with educational resource pages. It was actually one of the big selling points for me. But what they have is so much more than the little blurb they tell you. There are 10 full-color pages of resources that cover:- Going Green- Suicide Prevention- Bullying- Internet Safety (including an online safety contract and tips for families)- American Government- Science- Math Helper (Geometry and Fractions)- Conversions (English System, Metric System, Temperature, Decimal Equivalents of Fractions)- Place Value Chart- Multiplication Table (Up to 12)- World Map- U.S. Map- Language Arts (Punctuation, Sentence Construction, Parts of Nouns, Homonyms)- Cursive Alphabet4. MONTHLY CALENDARS. We will use this to keep track of play rehearsals, field trips, and important dates.5. YEAR-AT-A-GLANCE. I just always think it's nice to include this.6. WEEKLY SPELLING WORDS. This is PERFECT for us. I planned for us to go heavy on spelling this year and this section has space for us to track 3 new spelling words per weekday.7. WEEKLY NOTES. I'm using this section to track life skills he is learning, but it can be used for anything.8. MONTHS AND DAYS IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH. As someone who is teaching and learning Spanish, I love this thoughtful addition of having the months and days in Spanish as well as English.9. DID YOU KNOW FACTS. My son absolutely loved these and read through them all as soon as we opened the planner. They were really interesting facts, too!10. SUBJECT AREAS. The weekly spread has space for 7 subjects. 4 of them are allotted to the core subjects (Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts), but the other 3 are left blank for you to fill in.11. PARENT GUARDIAN SIGNATURE. Although this feature was probably designed with public school kids in mind, it's also great for homeschoolers. I feel like it could help parents remember to check that their child actually did what they needed to do that day.12. CHECK BOXES. I love that you don't have to worry about creating your own checkboxes because they did it for you. Makes it really easy and uniform to track which lessons have been completed and which need to be migrated to another day. I also think that you could use them to write in grades for quizzes/tests. You could do letter grades or write in the number grade sideways.13. INCLUDES WEEKENDS. I was a bit worried that they had left off the weekend (sometimes we go on weekend field trips or do catch-up work). But they're there!14. WEEKLY READER METER. As a parent who is HUGE on literacy and a child who loves reading, we both were excited to have a feature where he can track how much he reads in a week. It only goes up to 2 hours and I know my son will go over that most weeks, but it's still really cool.15. CITIZENSHIP/BEHAVIOR RATINGS. There's a section at the very bottom of each weekly spread with a key to describe your child's behavior (a series of 3 smiley faces for excellent, satisfactory, and needs improvement. I am using that as a way to try modify my son's behavior).16. READING LOG AND BOOKMARK. The planner also comes with a separate, laminated page that contains a reading log and bookmark. The reading log has columns for the date, book title, author, and minutes of reading.WHAT I WOULD IMPROVE1. This is really minor, but I would have preferred if the reading log was just a series of pages in the planner rather than a separate feature. It would have been nice to be able to track his books for the entire year along with everything else. The alternative is using one of the subject areas (perhaps the smallest one with only 2 lines) as a place to record books he read from or finished that day.Overall, this is a great purchase that I do not regret. I plan to buy this every year, as long as they keep making them. So happy to have found something that works for us! Highly recommend!

Perfect for elementary school age children
This student planner is the size of a spiril notebook. The pages are a little thicker than notebook paper though. It’s very colorful and has lots of space to write in assignments. At the bottom of every week, there’s a reading tracker. There’s also a space for spelling words and a small section for Sat and Sun which is cool to have have just in case. There are monthly views in the beginning and several helpful resource pages. This planner ends June 18, 2020. The only thing I feel is missing are some blank pages. I need one to fill in my son’s daily schedule since he is doing virtual learning Right now. But overall, I think this is a nice planner for my 4th grader. And the price is good.

Great price, durable, nice surprises, perfect for what we needed or for!
My son uses this planner for 4th grade. It holds up very well. The binding has not given us any issues. The front few pages were a nice surprise, and had two kids maps, as well as other various informative pages for kids that we loved. It came with a free dry erase reading sheet to keep track of his reading, as well as a free book marker. The pages of the organizer are well laid out and also have a few extra blocks for you to add extra subjects that are not included in the planner.I can honestly say I will be buying more of these in the following years. He loves it, I love it.

Just what I was looking for!
I was looking for a planner for my 1st grader to help her get used to planning her schedule of assignments, especially with a Hybrid (COVID) schedule. This was a great find!!!It’s age appropriate for a 6 year old, has assignment breakdowns by day, reading gauge, and a place for parent signature. I will definitely reorder this for the next few years if it’s hopefully available.

Mediocre Planner at best
Not very sturdy, the pages are very thin so will have to use only a pencil. Came damaged so the reading log and bookmark are not useable.
