So fun!
My children love this game, even my 3 year old really gets into it and can play mostly on his own. All of the pieces are high quality and the board is so fun to look at. My kids picked up the rules really quickly and love that they can vary the gameplay.

Great fun family game
First of all, we love to play "The Quacks of Quedlinburg" in adult groups and we own both extensions. This game has been a great entry level game for friends and family alike. It's great fun to pull the different fruit/vegetable tiles out of the bag, feed them to your animal and move the animal accordingly as many spaces as the number on the tile indicates. In addition, depending on the type of fruit/vegetable, the respective player then also carries out a specific action. In contrast to the firecracker, here in the game there is "dream herb". If you draw three dream herb tiles, you can go shopping. So no kettle flies around your ears ;-).Even if you can't move the animal forward in Dreamweed, it's still a lot of fun because as soon as you've drawn three, you can buy new tiles. So the players are not sad, but even happy about it because they can go shopping right away :-)It is a wonderful game both playfully and in terms of materials, and has several variants. The game board is printed on both sides - for a short or long game. The plates are really thick, everything is robust, the wooden animals are printed in color. The box is pretty heavy. Here you get what you pay for. Was a good investment! There are 2 variants included in the game. caterpillar and butterfly. Caterpillar is considered an entry-level set and Butterfly is considered an advanced set, which is then followed by more vegetables and shamrocks. Great! Buy we absolutely love this.

Great addition to family game night!
If you have little ones (5+ years old) and enjoy board games but need an upgrade on the kid friendly games I highly recommend Quacks & Co. Serenity saw us playing the original game and wanted to play, but the rules were a bit much for a five year old. I learned there was a more kid friendly version and bought it. I LOVE this kids version of the game. It's got mechanics that will help little ones learn and prepare for games that are more complicated than Candy Land, but still has enough to keep adults interested. It's fast paced and it has different options to up the difficulty level as your child learns the game. If you are a believer in the saying "the family that plays together stays together" then I recommend adding the game to your game/bookshelf!

So fun
Honestly quacks of quedlinburg is fun but this game is better. It uses the same game mechanics but makes it a little less frustrating for kids. My kids are between 4-10 and all LOVE this game. If you are big board gamers, this is a great one for kids and adults won't mind playing either.

Damaged box hidden by the shrink wrap.
We bought earlier in the year and decided to wait until Christmas to give. With buying new and it in the shrink wrap we did not even consider that there could be this many issues with the box. Most of the corners were either ripped or dented. The inside storage had a dent and was fraying/rolling down on one side. These flaws were covered up with the shrink wrap holding it together. Unfortunately, we were past the return window over wise we would have definitely exchanged for a new one as it was extremely disappointing that it was this damaged as it almost looked like a used game as some of these issues could not have been transportation/delivery related because they were in the inside of the box.

Even fun for adults
Great game that's isn't too mindless or lacking in strategyfor adults but still fun for kids. My 8 year old loves it. My 5 year old can play with help. It's the favorite game at our house right now partially because adults don't roll their eyes when asked to play.

Great game, great components, nice variability
Not too often in kids games do you get variable setup options (multisided board, multi-sided action cards) to prolong the game life. The bags are thick and a little stiff but they even have rounded corners--better than the original game that still hasn't fixed the pieces getting stuck in bag corners. It doesn't have the push your element thing but it does have bag building, which is cool.Knocked it out of the park.

Perfect Quacks "lite" for younger crowd, and fun enough for the parents and older kids to play along
Unlike many other games made for kids, my wife and I enjoy this game enough, and that's important when selecting a game the whole family will play. Even better, my 5yo son loves it. He's actually played Quacks of Quedlinburg with me and while he can place the ingredients in the pot correctly, purchasing strategy and knowing when to stop is lost on him. This one is great, but I would take away a half star if I could because the bag material is not consistent; on three of them it is very thick fabric and doesn't flex in your hand like you'd hope, while one color is soft cottony feel.
