I have to say, it is probably the best organizer of this type that I have used.Pros:The GRID-IT! system is extremely flexible and allows me to customize the organizer to fit my specific needsThe elastic bands are strong and hold my items securely in placeThe organizer is compact and fits easily in my backpack or suitcaseThe materials are high-quality and feel durableCons:The price is a bit on the higher side, but considering the quality and convenience of the organizer, I think it is worth itOverall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the cocoon GRID-IT! When I just received this product and opened it, not going to lie, I just said, "Hmph." Felt cheap. Smelled cheap. I don't think it's going to last long.I have never owned any of these, so I didn't quite know what to make of the different size/length bands. It took me a bit to figure out where I can put what and how to place my gear in the most efficient manner.I was about to give up on this, since it felt that if you put one item in the best spot, then it killed optimization for every other spot. I figured that since I had a USB charger and different cables to plug into it, to set it up so I can use some of my cables without taking anything out of the organizer itself.I came up with what you see in my pictures. There is a very thin zippered pouch in the back, which I used to hold the charger's cable when not plugged in.When I use it, I take it out of my backpack, take the charging cable out from the pouch in the back and plug it in. I lay it on my desk and just pull out the cable I need. I left enough slack to lead into my devices without having to take the whole cable out. There are extra USB ports and cables in case I need to charge all of my devices at once, but I usually don't, so i didn't plug those cables in or leave any slack to use them without pulling them out.Hopefully, not having to pull anything in or out of the elastic bands will not cause any stress to them and make them fail. I'm pretty sure I'm going to break the zipper from the pouch in the back prett quickly, but I don't need to zip up the charger cable, since it stays in place by the pressure against the fabric.All in all, maybe more expensive than the craftsmanship, but we shall see.

I always struggle with gifts for men and saw this in a magazine with nifty mens gadgets and gifts. So far I have bought one for my husband and more as gifts.He fits all his travelling bits in it and uses it when travelling and also uses it daily in his briefcase to neatly store cables, chargers etc.. Fab useful and not expensive gift for a man.

I find this very practical. I have it sitting ready at my desk with usb keys, earbuds, sd cards and pens, so I can just put it in my suitcase and know where it all is. I will probably end up getting the larger version as well for all my other little bits and pieces.

I use this in my camera bag to keep my spare batteries, SD cards, charger cables, card reader, Allen key for my tripod etc etc. Keeps it very organised and all the cables stay dangle-free. Very useful accessory to own albeit slightly overpriced.

I was pleasantly suprised! This thing works! You can have cables stored there, and then put this inside your backpack and it will save you much space on your luggage. I will probably buy a second larger one.
