Classic Gun Grave
Classic Gun Grave action! If you enjoyed the PS2 games, you are going to love this one. It has that old school feel that is typically lost on modern games. I am absolutely in love with it!

Fantastic follow up to the PS2 games
I literally put God of War Ragnarok down once I started this game, until I finished it- I simply had that much more fun with Gungrave Gore than I did with GoWR. If you liked the PS2 GG games, or can appreciate games that aren't just clones of every other modern game, you will love this. They just don't make many games like this anymore, so games like this are 100% worth supporting.

This game is good but, is in desperate need of accessibility
To begin my review, I would like to say that, Gungrave G.O.R.E. is not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, its a very good game considering that the gameplay style is simular to games like Devil May Cry. This is not a bad thing. The gameplay is very responsive and, very fluid. The one issue that I have with this game as a gamer and streamer who also happens to be visually impaired and of the disability community is that there are no accessibility features whatsoever. The one thing that this game needs is accessibility features to make the game more accessible to players with disabilities. For example, when you start up games such as The Last of Us Part 1 and PArt 2 as well as God of War Ragnarok and the recently released Dead Space remake, you have a menu narrator that will read the menu to the player. This helps players who are totally blind or, who have low vision to navigate the in game menus. This is not present in Gungrave G.O.R.E. Another accessibility feature that needs mentioning is that their is no full navigational assistance to help players who are totally blind or, who are visually impaired to navigate the games levels. Granted, there are visual indicators that tell the player where to go next. However, the one thing that could have helped this problem for players who are totally blind or, who have low vision is full on navigational assistance. This is something along with the lack of menu narration that I wanted to address in this review. As for the combat in the game, their are no audio queues to let the player know that they have defeated the enemies in front of them. Now, I do realize when saying these things that this game is a budget title and considering the price point these features are more than likely very costly to add into a game. So, I understand as to them being left out at launch. However, I believe that the developers should strongly consider patching in accessibility features like the examples I gave above and more to make this already great game even better and more accessible so that they can reach more players and more fans of GunGrave G.O.R.E. In closing, I would like to say that if you're considering buying this game do keep in mind that if you or the person you are buying it for needs the accessibility features that I mentioned above they are not going to be present. However, aside from that one nit pick, this game is great with insane action and fast fluid gameplay. In terms of the lack of accessibility one suggestion I would like to make for anyone picking this up who would need those features is to play the game with a friend or another player to assist them with some of the things that they might need help with With that being said, I give Gungrave G.O.R.E. 4 stars out of five and I recommend it to any action game fan or, fans of gungrave.

An ode to games of the past.
Gungrave GORE isn't going to be for everyone, but if you enjoyed either of the first 2 games on the Playstation 2 this is a must play. It's a little rough around the edges, but it's a got all the good stuff! Overall it's a solid game and I highly recommend it.

Guns sound like crrraaaappp
I am so heavily bothered by the Weak sound of the guns. Maybe it's just that I remember that deeper almost bass-distorting Boom of the older PS2 game but the gunshots in this one sound muted for one, and lacking in oomph.

Easy mode is the way to go.
Alright if you are a dan of the ps2 gungrave games. Then you will have fun with this. I had a pretty good time. With a few frustrating moments. Now if you are going into this game I highly recommend you start on easy difficulty. Now I say this because honestly that will maximize the amount of fun you will have. Plus it gives you a good amount of info on how to deal with certain enemies and environments to keep up your beats counter. Also for the later stages you really need those upgrades and even more so on normal difficulty. But the game story is OK and the game is beautiful and stylish in its own way. The main focus is keeping up your beats counter while balancing demolition shoots and your fury mood to get the maximum amount of arts points. The demolition shoot will also replenish your health. While fury mode double your damage. Not everyone is going to like this game but trust play on easy mode first then move onto normal. You will get more mileage.
