Tintin Comic Strip Books Set - A Collection of 23 Full Sized Books

I bought this set for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. It's a nice set and fun to re-read Tintin's adventures.

I ordered these for a friend for a birthday gift, as he had wanted the whole collection in original format and publication. He was so happy with them, that I ordered a second set for myself! Terrific service from vendor as well!

The Tintin collection is a collector's dream. Amazing illustrated books for children aged 8 and above, much better than the "captain underpants" or the catkid/dogman nonsense that kids in the USA are getting hooked to in elementary school.

I grew up reading these comics and wanted to get them for my boys. All books are British English, just the way I wanted. Quality of paper, binding and print is very good. For those who want the complete set, Tintin in Congo is missing and needs to bought separately. Overall very satisfied and am delighted reliving my childhood!

3 quick things to point out: the set I got, Little, Brown was the publisher for all but one book (Flight 714 was Egmont); second, for some strange reason a handful of talk bubbles, especially in "Cigars" and "America", the text was missing- the bubble was just blank. I went online and confirmed that there was in fact speech in those bubbles that were empty. Overall I counted about 10 empty bubbles, all in the earlier texts like "America" and "Cigars". Finally, the text is smaller than the version I read as a kid (Mammoth)- it was still fine for me but is small enough that it may bother some.

All 23 books arrived in beautiful condition! The only one this collection is missing is Tintin in the Congo, which I purchased separately. Despite that, this is the perfect comic set for any fan of Tintin. I myself am a huge fan, and I am very pleased to finally have a full collection of the comics in the original sized printing. The price even went down the exact day I was able to buy them, which was almost like a sign from comic heaven. I definitely recommend buying!

Perfect as a gift, if they love Tintin comics they will love this set. Includes all the comics, atleast the mainstream ones. If you’re getting it for yourself, this pack is much better than buying the comics individually. It’s a collection to keep.
