Great for Groups
I got this 8 mic set as an upgrade to our 10 year old 4 mic set. We've grown in size so we needed more mics and better quality sound. My puppet team and I were really impressed with the sound quality! We did experience some drop out issues with all the mics on. The set allows you to change the frequency so that helped some. But the seller was fantastic in replacing some pieces that didn't function as expected. I was personally amazed that I could get pieces replaced without having to return the whole set! We are using the single cable which makes it more portable and we can still individualize the volumes. I imagine if you used the 8 individual cables then the quality would be even better. We travel to local facilities, so it was a must to have the single cable option. The team really likes the light weight and stability of the double ears on the headset. But because of it's lightweight we are very careful to handle them with care. We've used it several times now and so far they're not as flimsy/fragile as they first appeared but definitely not for heavy handed or careless hands. The biggest problem I had was the lack of instructions on how to adjust the head sets. You definitely can not bend any part of the headset or it will break. Our old set we could bend the arm to adjust the fit. There is a rubber part on the "arm" that allows you to lift, lower, extend and shorten the mic to your mouth. Once you get how it works, it's ok. It doesn't always stay in place but we are learning to perfect the technique. Even with that, the team prefers this head set to the old ones we had.The bodypack is great. Sturdy. The clip secures it to clothing well. The only thing I miss is a mute function. So it's on or off. But it turns on/off quickly so not a big deal just had to get use to it.The packaging is awesome for the receiver and bodypacks. I bought a canvas case and just set the styrofoam in the bottom of the bag for the receiver and the separate bodypacks' styrofoam on top of the receiver just as it came in the box. Each bodypack has it's separate cubby - yay. But the headsets were packed so tightly in a single bag that once I took them out there was no way I could get them back in for storage so I bought a perfectly sized clear storage container for them that fits on top in the bag. Since we're mobile it was important for me to be able to properly store and carry.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase especially at this price point. It really has improved our overall performances. I'm also very impressed with the customer service I received. I definitely would recommend this set to a friend for a similar use.

Good to buy backup replacement microphones if planning on using all channels
I used this for an elementary school play. After teaching the kids for months not to touch fake microphones we made during rehersals....4 kids touched theirs so hard the mouth wires broke when it was showtime. I would recommend tape for younger users. I was able to have 24 channels working all on their own frequency stacking 3 of these units. The sound is great when the kids don't break the mics. No issues with distance. The customer service of the seller is amazing, I had 3 different setup questions and they replied so fast each time. I would recommend buying/having a few backup headset microphones on hand.

Great customer support - probably good mics if you know how to dial in the settings
I purchased these mics last minute before a production and literally unpacked them during the first dress rehearsal the morning of the show. Being an amateur to sound systems, I had no clue what I was doing and wasn't able to tweak the settings well enough between these mics and my sound system to get a consistently good sound. I emailed Boly in desparation during the rehearsal asking for help, not expecting any response, and within 30 minutes someone responded and kept emailing back and forth with me to try and help me. I believe these mics would be great for someone that has the experience to dial in the settings.

everything works. some mechanical connections seem fragile
Bought this for an Improv team. It comes with:8 headset microphones - they attach under your ear and behind your head - they look and feel a little lightweight but they are pretty sturdy. plugging cable into bodypack also seems a little loose but they haven't come unplugged during use. the the cable is a little short, though sufficient even for the tallest member who is about 6'-4"8 bodypack remote transmitters - they came tuned 1 for each channel and worked straight out of the box. the belt clip also seems lightweight but also seems to work well. We have more channels than team members and planned on just swapping transmitters if any interference is detected.1 receiver with 8 independent channels and 8 antennas -- The 8 channels are labeled A through H but the correspondingly tuned bodypacks were not labeled. I manually labeled them.- Controls for each channel include volume control and frequency up, down and set buttons. I use the volume control knobs to balance out the individual team members. To change a channel frequency you open the battery cover on the bodypack and point the IR SYNC port at the IR port on the front of the receiver. Push the UP or DOWN button to select a new frequency then press the SET button. You should see the frequency change on the bodypack, possibly even see the IR port light up. I haven't tried it, haven't needed to. It's a little complex and the manual is not written by a person fluent in English.- On the back there are 8 Antenna plugs (male), a 1/4" mono audio jack (female) and 8 pairs of mixer connections (female). The antennas are connected by pushing and turning the swivel base onto the plug and the quality here is underwhelming. I had some trouble turning the antenna base onto some of the plugs. I had to use needlenose pliers to hold some of the plugs from turning and I had to do this for every show. I bought a large tote to hold all the equipment and so I could just leave the antennas on. Also the short 1/4" microphone cable fits loosely into the jack. I haven't experienced any issues with that connection. I just convert the cable to a headphone jack and plug it into the aux port on my speaker. I have not used the mixer ports, nor do I intend to.Overall the system has worked and the team has not complained.
