First time trying this pomade… I have tried lots of different brands in the past. I have been very happy with another brand (uppercut) but I needed a pomade that I could restyle on the go with just my hands. The hold on Johnny Slicks Water Based is not stiff or crusty… it just holds hair in place. The scent is wonderful and not a high glossy look. This is now my go to product when filming. I also love that this has natural ingredients for hair health. Will definitely be ordering more of their products.

This is my 2nd jar. I tried the original and now the rugged. This product is hard to wash out! The rugged smells more like flowers and sweet and candle scent then the original. I highly suggest to stick with a different brand if you are looking for a manly scent based on the 2 jars I have tried.

I have medium length thick bushy hair. It’s phenomenal for me. Nothing worked well after a while. I put on bonnets/hats all day and I’m in weather sometimes too. All makes my hair wild at the end of the day and this was the first day my hair stayed shaped and molded. 5/5 stars for me and that’s a first. I’ve tried Sauvicito (also like but doesn’t perform as wel), Got2b, Pacinio, crew, gummy, italic.Best Buy. Expensive but best.

Welp…. The product was good. Was hoping the “fragrance” was essential oil based. TSA confiscated my jar (I got to use the product 5times) and trashed it because they don’t allow anything over 3.67oz……..
