I was hoping the jalapeno flavor wouldn't be overwhelming and it is not.Convenient and tasty. I love the convenience when I take something out of my freezer to thaw for dinner and I can literally have a serving of rice in one minute. I prefer my own cooking and vacuum seal leftovers for future meal. In the freezer they go and I can just pull out what sounds good to me.

We love Jasmine rice, but sometimes there's not enough time to whip some up (or so we thought). We gave the "Minute Rice" a test run. It takes only a minutes to heat which is convenient.Now we come to Flavor & Texture. Yes, it's Jasmine rice, but a little bland. The rice is too dry compared to homemade. In future, we'll only use this in dire circumstances with lots of sauce.Would I recommend to family & friends? No! (Even the cheapest Jasmine rice you can find is better). Would I buy this again? No! I anticipate these to remain in the pantry a long time.Taste is an individual thing, and tastes vary. If you've never made your own, you may like this. I wish you all the Luck.
