Mid 2018 Apple MacBook Pro Touch Bar with 2.7GHz Intel Core i7 (13.3 inch, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) Space Gray (Renewed)

I needed an inexpensive Laptop for DJing. I looked up the minimum specs I needed and this fit the bill and then some. It had a faster processor and more memory than I needed, but at $500 it was a steal. The battery life isn't the greatest, but this is only used for DJing so it's really not a problem for me. My refurbished unit was in great shape, only a few light marks on the chromed Apple logo, but everything else was pretty much perfect. Everything works and I have no issues at all. I will not hesitate to purchase another refurbished unit for utility purposes.

MacBooks are robust computers, we just got a dud with this purchase. Computer came with numerous dings and scratches, non advertised in the listing.Within a month the computer stopped working and wouldn’t turn on. Seller was reasonable and issued it a return.

I needed this MacBook for work because my original laptop gave out on me but I didn’t want to spend thousands on a MacBook and this works amazingly! I love the 2018 MacBook because of the touch bar and the i7 processor is great. I didn’t expect the MacBook to come in perfect condition

I'm on my second go around with this product. I had serious problems with the first one - the computer would crash a couple of times each day when it went to sleep. I returned it and purchased another. Same problem!I later found out the reason. The monitor I have it connected to is set to DisplayPort version 1.4 which these 2018 Macbooks don't support. I found an article about this but links aren't allowed here. I'm using a Samsung 49 inch ultrawide. In the monitor's menu I was able to change the DP setting to 1.2 and since having done that everything works fine.Aside from the rebooting issue, the power adapter that came with the first one was crap and didn't work after the initial charge so I went ahead and ordered a different one which cost around $30.All in all I would say the cost to value benefit of this product is pretty good. A new model with 16gb of ram, and 512gb hard drive (albeit with an M2) is around double this price. This laptop runs everything I need it to well including the latest MacOS.Physically, both laptops looked great very little noticeable wear & tear. The first one was perfect, the second one has a little mark on the bottom.

The performance is fine, battery last good but not outstanding.Too many scratches, keyboard is worn out.I should have return it but I was out of the country and the return time was due.At least performance is fine.Update as of October 2024laptop was returned, Graphics stopped working after 2 weeks.I lost $76 for returning the item.never again

Updated to say: seller responded and offered a partial refund for the faulty charger! The computer itself is fantastic and was an awesome value, but the charger it came with died within two days of owning the computer. Seller won't respond or send me a functional one, so I had to spend another $30 to buy a working charger. Pretty hard to use a laptop when you can't recharge it... super annoying and bad service, but the computer itself is great (and the battery itself is effectively new).
