Great product
I bought this engine set for my son to learn about the basic engine concept, and it turned out working great. It is quite simulating the principle of mechanical piston motion and it is an aid to explain the engine working process to my son. It comes with a 4-speed transmission, which is nice. He spent about half day to finish building.Overall, it is a good aid and toy for kids to learn and play.

Mitigate your expectations - but overall worth it.
This looked interesting so I picked it up. Overall the mechanism is a little challenging to build as the instructions aren't always that clear. Some strategy is involved in order to fit the parts together that might have spaces too tight to get to when on the model. As this is a knock off LEGO product, these are not official LEGO pieces so there are some quality control issues. This usually translates to pieces that may not fit as tight or as loose as they are supposed to and as this is a model with moving parts it will be an issue. I had no missing pieces, but the grey hoses included are not the correct type, although I think you can modify these easily with some scissors. I think the price is a bit high considering it's not an official LEGO produce, but I am happy with my purchase overall.

Was a great gift to give my eldest son.
What can I say, it lit up the eyes of a 20 year old Lego fanatic. Was a great present to give. No issues with assembly and it's sitting on my son's work desk as we speak.

Great gift for kids
The media could not be loaded. My nephew really enjoys taking things apart and assembling them back on. And he always wants to try to build his own engine once. This is the perfect gift for him. The engine runs smoothly, and my nephew loves to watch it working. Good product for learning.

Keeps on breaking
The pistons get caught on the frame of the engine constantly, the gearbox is only a two speed instead of the 3 speed that was stated on the website, gears keep on slipping. The only good thing is the packaging. Overall, I would not recommend this product, especially at this price point.

Great product for family
I bought this for my son who is obsessed with cars, all the parts are there and it runs smoothly. 10/10 product! Recommended if your children like cars
