Really great price for the pond pump. Easy to use, good size and had no problem putting it all together. Not too loud, performs as expected, well made.Just wish the pump had some type of protection from the elements. I built a box to hold the pump for 4-season use.

This low cost system works great for about 6 hrs before the heat generated in the cabinet causes the hose to split. I wish I had read reviews. This pump is going to need a ventilation fan in cabinet as well as some heat resistant hose connected to pump and then connected to weighted hose. Does the company have an easy solution?? Can’t get through to technical support.

When your pond drops almost 10 feet because of drought, something must be done to keep oxygen in the water. We tried this pump and it worked wonders. The directions were simple and the pump was easy to put together and use. We weren't sure it would be big enough for our 3 acre pond, but it did the trick. Over the winter, it kept about half of the water open and bubbling with oxygen, even in below 0 weather. We had no fish kill over the winter, and the fish we are catching are big and healthy. Definitely will use it again next winter or maybe sooner if the rains don't come.

We got it all hooked up, motor is more quite than the bubbles exiting the pond - not bad at all! We deployed only 1 of the 2 aerators due to not having enough hose length. The 100' hose must be used for both aerators which means you have to cut to size. This is OK except its too short.The real issue we have, is that we are only on day 2 (1 hour run-time) and the hose already blew out! Pump is leaking air enough that no air is reaching the aerator. Now we have to start over, go buy adequate hose and try again. The cost in lost time and trying to find the right type/size/length of hose is not worth it. Looking back, we wish we would have just purchased the right pump, the desired aerators and then any proper hose. Buyer - be prepared to replace the hose include - it is nearly useless.It will be interesting to see how well the pump does over time. Generally speaking, this is otherwise a nice system for beginners. Note - there is a document from seller to buy a plug, we did not need to buy a plug. This pump came with an AC cord with a 3 prong plug attached. Seller should correct ad, we now have a 3-prong plug to return to hardware store.Decent pump, aerators are actually impressive.

I've only had it installed for around 3 weeks as of this review, but I like it so far. I'll update this post if it breaks down. Even though my review is long, it's got a lot of good tips! I originally included links for additional products needed but the review was blocked, so I’ve included the description instead.First, the "con" - while it comes with 2 diffusers, it only comes with one hose! I didn't even think to confirm that because all the other ones I saw for sale had an equal number of hoses and diffusers. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I guess the idea is that you could cut the hose into two 50' lengths, but that wouldn't go very far.Installation was fairly easy, even though the instructions are almost non-existent. I'm reasonably handy, no experience with this type of thing, but still I found it straight-forward.I bought this hose for the 2nd diffuser, it's much higher quality than the hose that came with the item. It was $270, but obviously you're going to need some way to protect it, and more importantly, it has a fan that cools the compressor. I believe the fan is critical to avoid over-heating. The cabinet is built in a way where you plug the compressor into the cabinet, and then the cabinet plugs into your outlet. You plug anything into them (lamp, air compressor, etc.) and then you can control those items with an app. More importantly, you can use the app to set an on/off schedule. So with this smart plug, the compressor runs for 3 hours, and then turns off for 1 hour (to allow it to cool). It then turns back on for 3 hours, and the cycle repeats. After 11 months of running 24/7 my pump quit working. Went through warranty and received a new replacement pump. Belle made the process easy. Shipping was fast. I recommend this pump.

This item worked good out of the box. I put it on a timer to run during daylight hours. Purchased in late July and this item has failed in September. Something failed inside the motor and melted all of the leads and wiring. Very disappointed due to the cost of the item and its failure.

It lasted about 1.5 years. It doesn’t push out enough air to create the pressure needed to function properly anymore. It’s fairly loud and the weighted hose that it comes with heats up at the pump connectors and melts. The company over-glorifies the reliability of the product.
