Fendrihan Black and White Synthetic Shaving Brush with Resin Handle for Personal and Professional Shaving (Knot: 24 mm)

This brush is large and the handle makes it easy to grip and use. The bristles are very soft and they lather up soap really well. The resin handle is not that strong, I dropped the brush and a large piece of the handle broke off. However, I did get 2 years usage from the brush and it was less than $20 so I can't really complain. I tried much more expensive brushes from Simpson (synthetic) and from Muhle (silver tip badge hair) and neither performed as well as this brush, so I returned them and came back to this brush.

Have had this for a while now and it's really a great brush! I own a couple quality badger brushes, but wanted this for reasons stated. It works FANTASTIC. Soft, but with enough body to work up a thick lather quickly. I use TOBS creams in a regular Fendrihan skuttle. I highly recommend this item. Why not do something nice for the innocent badgers and buy one of these...you and the badger's will be thankful!Updated 7/13/2020 After using this for quite some time daily and then going back to a quality badger brush, I must admit this brush creates a much better lather, thicker and appies smoother to the face than my badger brushes. So with that said this definitely was a good choice. I will be buying a smaller knot brush for travel of the same type. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BRUSH.Update 10/1/2023 Absolutely the BEST shaving brush I own. Still in epic condition with absolutely fantastic performance creating a thick lather and I'm buying another one for backup. The Rolls-Royce of shaving brushes.

I must say I am very pleased with the quality of this product. It came very well packaged with no major issues. There were some light scratches on the logo surface, but it wasn't any bother. Right out of the box the bristles are incredibly soft. So soft I wanted to keep brushing my face with it even without soap. The whole thing had a nice weight to it. I was worried it was going to be really light but it was hefty for how small it was. It created a fantastic lather and felt amazing during the whole process. If I had to complain at all about anything, it would be the late shipping time. I don't know why a PRIME product that was purchased on the 2nd took a whole week to show up on the 9th (though this is really an issue with Amazon and not the seller's fault).Overall I am happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone else interested. You won't regret it!

This is my first tuxedo knot, and I like it so far. I used it for the first time today and it performed well. The fibers have very soft tips, but the backbone is really springy, so it did a good job generating a creamy lather working the shaving cream back and forth in a bowl. It's a little tough to evaluate its full potential since I was only lathering my neck and cheeks (currently growing a beard), but the lather had a nice sheen and was quite slick and protective (this is also the soap obviously). The knot being 24 mm and set kind of high in the handle also made painting the lather into my stubble feel like a precision effort; this seems like it'll be an agile brush when I'm doing my whole face again. The handle has a unique, "urn-like" appearance, and surprised me with how comfortable it actually was to hold. The overall appearance of the brush is minimalist and classy. Nice brush.

I have been wanting to try a good synthetic brush, but was a little skeptical, This one in particular has a relatively low price point, but the reviews were great. I took the chance. In short - it’s great. It’s very soft, and I was a bit concerned it wouldn’t load product well, I was wrong. It definitely feels and operates differently than a badger brush, but after a few shaves, I really like it. The bristles hold a surprising amount of water and soap, so if you are a face latherer, this will work perfectly for you. So far, no shedding. Recommended!

I bought this shaving brush about two years ago. I like the softness whenever I lather soap against my face. It is a sturdy design. You get what you pay for and then some with this brush, it feels and looks luxurious.While normally I am against synthetic and artificial materials, this brush gets a complete pass since it tolerates scalding hot water very well; meanwhile my boar bristle brush would disintegrate and lose a few hairs with hot water. The quality is spectacular the brushes come out at a perfect angle to lather soap in a jiffy. I dropped it once (completely my fault) and chipped off part of the holding handle, but was able to seamlessly superglue it back.Given the quality and how it’s held up for 2-3 years I fully expect to grow old and die using this shaving brush and pass it onto any kids if I have any. Has good backbone. Absorbs moisture well. Whips up a good lather. Easy to clean. A very good brush!
