I use this with a clipboard/notepad to take notes while on tele calls. This way my laptop is on a riser but I can write at a comfortable level and out of sight of the camera. I thought I'd prefer a model with more of a pillow but this is just perfect: Comfortable and doesn't get too hot; stays perfectly level at the right ergonomic height for writing; great size for me (I'm a petite woman) to have space to hold my stuff right there without getting crowded or slipping off; nice design (I got the orange floral) that looks cool and blends with my wood desk/accessories; non-slip surface.

I was not sure which laptop desk to purchase, ordered and tried 3, returned 2 and kept only this one. It is very light, and the isolation does not allow any heat from the laptop into my legs. It is also very well made, sturdy, and I expect to last for many years.

My husband often uses these "desks" for eating, paying bills, etc. They help stabilize plates or papers without adding weight on a person's legs. This one is an attractive color, and the writing surface is smooth.

DD LOVES this. Helps her to wind down at night with drawing or writing in her bed. Fits her comfortably (11 yrs old) but it seemed a little small to me. The padding is good, the top is sturdy.

Got for my elderly mother as a lap table, the top surface was non slip perfect for eating lunch or have a snack while watching tv. Also good for doing bookwork.

This otherwise very attractive and pleasantly light weight laptop desk has a problem, because the model with the rough finished faux bamboo surface may look nice, but it drives a hand-held Computer Mouse crazy by not allowing it to track as it should. If you only use a laptop with a built-in finger touch pad, you will love it. But there is little room on this very compact board for both a keyboard and a mouse pad especially a raised mouse pad to easily correct for this.

Use it for elderly so she can eat in her chair.. perfect
