This only works best if you have wifi. You can download a language for when you do t but my experience was that the translations were often wrong - sometimes horribly or embarrassingly. I finally gave up after having to reset and reboot it several times. It became a pain to try to use. I just ended up using my cell phone which cost only $12/ week for a local sim in the country I was visiting. I used Google translate in conversation mode and it worked very well.

I bought this for my mom as the Mother’s Day gift. She doesn’t speak English and always wanted something like this which can help her does the translation in an easy and convenient way. This translation device is pretty well-designed, sleek and easy to use. It does the job and does it well. My mom is happy about it! Money well spent. Highly recommended for bilingual speakers or travelers!

Can't figure out how to use it.

The quality was good, but the reason for having it meant nothing. It advertised being offline and useful without wifi nor hotspot required. However, that is false. You need one or the other to operate. I may as well have my cell phone on the job site.
