There were many revelations on simple joy, new experiences, survival, and connections in this book that I had a hard time putting down. Thus, the speedy read from Vol. 1-3. Vol. 3's ending got me choking and bawling my eyes out! It is not what I expected and seems to have gotten from a simple "creating a home" to heavy topics like love and sacrifice. How did it all turn 180 degrees on me in a split of an eye?The pacing of the books was fast and good. The bonus sections between chapters gave me much reprieve from the cliffhanger cut-off scenes. It was good to laugh at one of the funny experiences. These bonus chapters look like drafts that didn't make it to the final chapters of the official book.Conclusion: I highly enjoyed this book series and cannot wait for Vol IV. It is very entertaining and has all the elements of excellent, current, and relatable nuances.

I initially got a damaged book (missing and torn pages) but the seller was kind enough to have it replaced. Finally I have the 3rd volume! Love the story and love the beautiful illustrations! I can't wait to read the 4th volume!

I'm in love with this series, the story telling is gorgeous, it brought tears to my eyes more than I would like to admit. The deluxe edition is GORGEOUS, always outstanding.

Can't wait for the next installment I need to know what happens next

I was buying this as a gift for a friend who loves the series. I checked that the listing was for a brand new copy, and happily ordered this item. Then my friend opened it to find the book damaged, and NOT factory sealed, but instead in a bag with a reseller sticker on it. So if you plan to buy this, be careful because you might end up with a used and damaged copy when you paid for a brand new one.

One of the front corners is damaged and so are the first hundred or so pages. I could let this go if I had paid $10-20, but at $40 I expect a pristine copy. A little disappointed.The story/art itself is a 10/10
