The cup from world war 2 era navel ships. The Diner cup. Think of sitting next to Humphrey Bogart in the Diner Painting: pure coffee break escapism, and the coffee may taste like thirties diner coffee. This cup was well worth the purchase, not just for the coffee break escapism , the size is perfect about 6 ounce size and very heavy constructed.

The coffee cup is heavy enough but I don't tend to knock it all over. It also seems to keep the heat very well and the coffee warmer longer than cups I already have. it says that it can be used in the microwave and that it is dishwasher safe on the second shelf.

One of the thickest mugs I've found. Excellent finish. It's not a dainty mug.Very happy!

I like these mugs , they are definitely diner quality. I love a good thick mug. Only thing I wish they had more of a rounded lip edge. These mugs have a smooth somewhat rounded lip edge, but not round and thick like a "waffle house" type diner mug. It fills to a good 12 oz level so you can add to your cup of coffee or tea and also fills to the rim for 14 oz. The color is a little lighter than the picture. Nice mug at a decent price.

I was looking for a heavy mug for tea. I have many larger coffee cups but for tea I don't need a very big one. I was looking for an old fashioned style like in the diners. This is exactly what I was looking for. It's very heavy, nice thick ceramic and the lip is very smooth where you put your mouth. The only thing wrong in the description is that the handle is one finger, not two. But it's fine, you can hold it very easy with one finger in the hole and your thumb on the top of the handle. Since it's so thick my tea stays hot longer. I'll order a few more.

Bought this red mug for my mom after she broke her favorite red coffee mug. It’s very sturdy and she loves it.

I like the mugs BUT they are not as described. 1) Robust size in picture is misleading and shows cup larger than it actually is. 2) These are not two finger mugs which goes back to misleading photo. Seller should have enough faith in product without feeling a need for false embellishment. Minus 2-stars for misleading.

These are nice thick and heavy mug's, just like the at the old dinners serve your coffee in. My family loved them! Highly recommend them!
