Bigger than original but supposedly last longer. Sticks out rear of computer about an inch but other than that is working great. We don’t move laptop much so it doesn’t really matter to me. I wish I had known I could buy a new battery sooner. The original has been bad for many years. I will purchase again when this one stops charging. Cheap. We get about 4 hrs from a full battery

I purchased this battery back in may, and since then ive gone through about 3 battery cycles a week. Almost 4 months later and the battery is still kicking! If you have windows 10 or 11 (I personally use 11) you'll only get about 2 hours of use on a full charge (this is with the 3.06GHz core 2 duo model, a cheaper intel pentium model might differ) but if you turn the brightness down and turn on battery saver mode you can squeeze up to 4 hours out of a charge. This is way better than the original dell battery, which i still use as a spare when this one dies, but that only gets about 45 minutes out of a charge. For the price, i highly recommend it. Its only a few dollars more than a 6 cell battery and it's worth the extra money. I'll update this review when this battery starts to wear down.

I purchased this battery from AC Doctor Inc in July 2021 and by August 2022 the battery no longer holds the same charge. After 13 month capacity has been reduced to 49%. Original worktime on battery was 2 hours 10 minutes and has now been reduced to 55 minutes.Research revealed that either this battery was sub standard quality to start with or was manufactured years ago and sat on shelf and was near end of life when sold.AC Doctor Inc customer service refuses to acknowledge any problems with a product that is failing 1 month after the expiration of the 12 month warranty period. Thus battery is of poor quality and the company does not value good business practices . AVOID !!! (A prior replacement battery from a different vendor lasted 4 year - both purchased from Amazon , so the data is easily viewable in purchase history)BTW , here is the response from the vendor:Dear Customer,This is Nina, from Customer Service Department.Our aims is to provide efficient service.We are sorry about that, we checked for your order and found it out of warranty.This only have 12 months warranty.You can order for another one for replacement.I consider the last line of their response an IQ Test ....

easy fix for dell battery that doesn't retain a charge anymore without paying dell an arm and a leg. however did not retain its' initial charge for very long. still testing.after further testing. charge retention is excellent. extremely good deal!
