Great knife block
Exactly as described. Value for money really sturdy

Fits everything well.
Maybe more room needed for scissors but all in all a good storage product.

DO NOT BUY, ALSO UNSAFE
Terrible design. The grill on top comes away with the knife when you try to retract it. Actually the whole block is so light it lifts off the table. The grill slots are too dense and inflexible, made from hard plastic when ideally it should be more like rubber. It is hard to insert the knife in the slots and the blades can jerk out suddenly which risks cutting yourself. A really poor design, especially do not buy if you have a quality knife set!

Knife block
Its not like usual knife blocks, that have slits in the block. You can place the knives anywhere in the block. Saving lots of space. Block is not heavy, until you place the knivesGiven as a gift. Recipient is pleased with it

The top comes off when you draw a knife
The top comes off when you draw a knife, so you have to hold it down, potentially cutting your fingers. Not great.

Fits all knives with somewhere to store steel and scissors
It does the job and great for heavy carving knives although small knives can topple out so I keep them at the back. So much better than more expensive versions I've had in the past

Too flimsy
The grid to put the knives through is plastic and simply sits on top of the wooden box. There is no fastening or clip to hold it in place, so when you take a knife out, the plastic grid comes with it - with all the other knives and scissors. So be ready for those to drop and perhaps get injured, or while picking them up again. Cannot recommend.
