I originally ordered a size too big. I'm not a small guy. 230+ and I work out and have relatively large calves. The medium ended up being perfect. I feel as though the combination of warmth, compression, and a little added stability is helpful. When my heel really started to hurt, I've done several things but wearing the brace is one of them and I think it's helpful.

Fantastic ankle support brace. Purchased the same one over 1 year ago. Love this product!
This was a no brainer for me to buy it again after buying my 1st one over 1 year ago. The product is well made and it allows me to walk and stand much longer. I knew my size V would fit (Shoe size 11 EEEE width) because I have the same one. Without this ankle brace I am truly disabled.

Make sure you order the right size they are confusing when you first look at them.
After looking at the different sizes and measuring my foot in a standing position I found the correct one I needed and I love it.
