There's a learning curve
Overall this is a great set. The crimper feels solid, and the big assortment of connectors is just what I needed. That said, making these adapters is trickier than expected! The included instructions are good, but be prepared to waste several pieces before you get it right (if you're an absolute noob like me).Look closely at the metal part for the little "tooth" that latches into the plastic part. It's easy to crush that in while crimping such that it won't secure to the connector. My workaround was to make sure that the latch/tooth was hanging about 1mm out of the "back" of the crimper before pressing down; when I aligned the metal pieces flush with the front, I kept mashing it.It's a bit arts-and-craftsy, but you can definitely get a hang of it with some practice. The crimper works great, it's me that could you some improvement!

Works well
Glad I bought it. High quality. It took a couple of test crimps to learn how to use (my first tiem) but now I can make and fix cables for my ender 3 pro.I will be buying 2.0 to complete the other size used on ender 3

Great quality and selection.
This is a great tool that is easy to use and performs well. It also included tons of connectors that were very useful in my projects. The tool is well made and feels like it will last a long time.

Overall a great kit.
Send to be some QC issues with the connector and pin counts. The included instructions are clear and useful. The overall quality of the crimp tool is excellent.

Wonderful. Thank You.
I just received this crimper and have only crimped a few pins. I am so happy and excited by this crimper I just had to write a review. The crimps are perfect. I have been looking for an affordable general crimper for small pins for 15 years. I have bought many and have been disappointed. This one is wonderful. The first pin I tried to crimp was a JST GH 1.25mm pitch pin. Anyone who has tried to crimp these pins know just how difficulted it is to get a decent crimp. I own the JST $1100 crimper that only crimps the GH pins. Even with that tool it is not easy to get a good crimp. This PEBA 1020M made a perfect crimp on my first try. The picture of blue wire is a JST GH pin and was my first attempt using this crimping tool and it was perfect.I purchased the tool specifically to crimp JST ZH 1.5mm pins and it does a perfect job with those also. See the pictures with the red wires. The channels are deep, the pin stays aligned as it is crimped, and it crimps both the wire and insulation at the same time. Thanks for making such a wonderful and affordable crimper for small pins.

Very nice, Easy to use
Bought this so I could crimp some dupont connectors to connect some wires to header pins.I think this tool set is great value. The tool itself is very nice, operates smoothly, and feels high quality. There are also plenty of connectors and housings included. I like that it also comes with a storage box to keep everything together.I also appreciated the instructions that are included. If you are new to crimping these types of connectors (like I was) make sure to read these carefully and reference the diagrams/images for whichever type of connector you are crimping. The direction you feed the connector+wire into the tool does matter. After one false start (my first crimp attempt was unsuccessful due to me not reading the instructions), I read the instructions and was able to crimp multiple connectors successfully with no issues.

EXTREMELY Glad I Decided on This!
The hardest thing is trying to figure out the specifications for the different types of connectors as a hobbyist. I had ordered a kit of JST connectors from china because the seemed like the most common type. After reading a bunch, I was able to determine what I needed was the JST XH type but I did not have a crimper. My 3D printer was getting a height sensor and of course the 'high qwality' chinese kit did not have the proper connectors for my Ender 3 V2 motherboard. I decided that since this kit said the jaws were EDM cut, it might have some accuracy. I work in aircraft and the tools are VERY expensive, so when I found these, I thought I would take a chance.Came in a nice retail box, the actual kit box is SUPER nice with a removeable tray to store a complete variety of the connectors, and at that securely so they don't migrate into other compartments. The crimpers are better than average with the jaws being very accurate. I was able to clip the 5-wire harness flat across, install 5 new female ends and snap them directly into the connector for a exceptionally professional result. It also does SM types too, but I would just purchase a separate pack for cheap. Great for drones, electronic projects and upgrades. The main reason I got this specific set is that they said 'High-precision jaws' and I can attest that they are. I crimped some 22ga Tefzel aircraft wire and the crimps all came out perfect, with the crimps secure and the strain reliefs not damaging the wire insulation, like in the ad photo. I HIGHLY recommend this kit.
