My wife and I brew coffee from freshly ground coffee beans every morning. I recently started drinking green tea in the afternoon, so I bought this kettle to boil water for green tea. I bought this kettle because my wife loved the stainless steel vintage design with rose gold handle, but I like that the whistle blows when the water starts to boil and the push button under the handle opens the spout for easy pouring.Please note that if you put water above the max line just below the base of the whistle, the whistle will not sound. The interior is made of all stainless steel and is easy to clean, and it boils quickly when used on a gas stove but it can be used on electric or even induction stove top. A very elegant and timeless design, yet functional and practical. Highly recommended for tea lovers. 5 out of 5 stars.

The handle of the kettle is poorly made. It started falling off after a month of regular usage. I tightened it but it continually comes off. The button to open the spout to pour water isn't functioning anymore either. There's no way to reach the seller.

This is a beautiful teapot. The only problem is the handle gets very hot, Which is why I only gave it four stars. Five stars for beauty!

When I was growing up my mom always had a whistling kettle on the stove and when I saw this, I guess I was a bit nostalgic. I was really pleased when I got it and saw it was a really good quality kettle and looked amazing on the stove and worked perfectly. It does not take much more time to heat up about half a kettle for my uses than it did to do it in the microwave so I am really pleased with that and the opening is large enough to get my hand in to clean it when necessary (not too often since all I do is boil water in it).Bottom Line: Perfect for what I wanted and stainless steel, looks great and I have to admit I can get forgetful and walk away from things on the stove, the whistle is a bit of a safety device for me so 5 Star for a great product.

The kettle looks great and durable. I chose the black color which came looking nice and classic can easily conceal stain and discolor. whistle sound is good enough to notice. I used mainly to boil water and function well for me. Handle is wonderful and easy to hold and heat resistance. Will last long time for using.
