Great hand held mic
I'm a mobile Disc Jockey and this mic has no equal. You get what you pay for and this model, even though discontinued is worth every cent. Strong and durable and carries a great signal. Like any microphone when dropped the metal mesh cover will dent, but it can be fixed to almost new with a little elbow grease. I own 4 of them (for Karaoke gigs) I've never had one stop working from a drop.

Value and Toughness.
Excellent value for a live performance. My brother accidently knocked my mike stand over last gig sending this mic directly to the floor headfirst. Not a mark on it and no harm to its sound. Probably not the type of microphone you would want in a studio because of its lack of rich low end tone, but for utility and cost I recommend it highly.

Good for practice

sturdy. Nice freq response
Well packet and made, sturdy. Nice freq response, but with a little bit of spill. not that good for drum, maybe for bass drum head, inside of course. (i know is a voice cheap vocal mic, but i test it anyways). Rejecting or directional will not help you on small spaces with hi gain structure. Feedback will be your enemy. A good replace for sm sure, bright capture on cabinet when recording guitars, specially transistor type of harmonic response. You should buy it for if you don't want to damage or lose any expensive-special dynamic mic of your collection. Nice for practice, vocal and guitar recording on booth with hi SPL levels. Brighter than sure, but less reject.Buy It.

I love it!
I bought this when my beloved Audio Technica MB3000L of 20 years passed on to Mic heaven. I loved that mic. I didn't think I would find another as smooth and forgiving, but I did. THIS ONE! For my dynamic voice, this one is almost as good (real close) as the MB3000L. Having the on/off switch is a huge plus. This mic is smooth, but you can scream into it and it just put's out a great sound. I miss my MB3000L, but not as much as I did before the MB3K. I love it!

Great value in a microphone.
It is a very decent sounding mic and for the price it is unbelievable. I like it better than the GLS mic I've been using and although the GLS mic sounds good and rejects feedback a little better than this AT, the GLS cannot take high levels very well, the AT so far sounds great and I haven't had any problems with it.

Good for the price
This is a good band mic as it will reduce more ambient sounds so less noise than my Samson Q4. Also neet to be right up on it.
