🌟 Unleash the Flavor Revolution!
Convenient dry form of malt vinegar, malt vinegar powder is produced from malted barley stock which has been converted to vinegar through the use of modern fermentation methods. These methods ensure that consistent, high quality vinegar is produced. It is dried on a maltodextrin carrier so that the unique flavor and aroma are preserved. Malt vinegar powder may be rehydrated with a ratio of 1 part powder to 2 parts water.

Adds a nice flavor to bread dough
I use this for a nice aroma to my "sourdough" bread. The acid does not impart much of a flavor into the baked bread so I also use citric acid for that. I tried using sour dough starters but I don't bake bread that often and so using this flavoring and citric acid gives me an aromatic and tangy sour dough bread without the starter and no hassles. If you are going to use acidulants for bread then you need to autolyse your dough before adding. Acid inhibits gluten formation (along with salt). Sour dough starters take time to build up their acid so they don't inhibit the gluten formation. Happy baking!

This is a great product I never even knew existed until the day ...
This is a great product I never even knew existed until the day I stumbled on it. I am using it in seasoning mixes to sprinkle over potato chips and pop corn. The flavor is mild and the malt can clearly be tasted. If you want a mild vinegar seasoning, other than liquid vinegar, I strongly recommend this product.

Great for what I use it for.
I use this product to add more flavor to the salt and vinegar sunflower seeds that I buy. This powder sticks to the seeds great and adds a ton of flavor. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it could be worse. I mean if this was a liquid it would be about $0.50 cents worth. Other than that small gripe I am satisfied with the product.

Great product, arrived on time
I got this product to make Salt and Vinegar String Beans from the Superiority Burger Cookbook (by Brooks Headley). Highly recommend the recipe and the book! And I'm excited to find more excuses to use this ingredient now

Salt N(o) Vinegar
I read the reviews and thought this must be amazing. I bought the biggest bag because I love salt and vinegar snacks and boardwalk fries but the powder has a funny after taste in my opinion. I cant use it without adding a bunch of other seasonings to it. I ended up buying salt and vinegar seasoning from buffalo wild wings. If your looking for that salt and vinegar twang it isn't in this powder. The flavor of the malt vinegar is present but very subtle. I know this seller has white vinegar powder and maybe that could work but unfortunately no returns or exchanges on food items and I don't want to chance not liking that flavor and waste more money.

Nice option to soggy fries
I used this to toss my fresh cut french fries in with a little avocado oil then baked them on parchment paper. They crisped up wonderfully. I sprinkled more on before I ate them.I will buy this vinegar powered again.

Malic Acid is the key to tart Salt and Vinegar powder
I’m a salt and vinegar addict, and I’m on WW (formerly Weight Watchers). Most salt and vinegar flavorings include sugar, so I wanted to make my own. Another reviewer on here said that the way to make the vinegar powder have the same tart punch as salt and vinegar chips is malic acid. They were right! My recipe is slightly different than the other reviewer (I like it salty!)For microwaved “air popped” popcorn (made in the Proper Popper, also bought on Amazon) I mix the following and keep it in a salt shaker. A spritz of movie theatre butter spray (sold in the popcorn aisle) makes the powder stick:- 3 Tbsp popcorn salt- 3 Tbsp vinegar powder- 1/4 Tbsp malic acidPerfection!

Vinegar powder review
Actually would have liked it to be a little courser. It is such a fine powder I was breathing it in as I tried to shake it on my popcorn. I love salt and vinegar chips so I thought why not popcorn. Pretty tasty
