Well-designed planner at a great price
I’m very picky about planners and tend to get several every year as I search for the perfect combo. This isn’t perfect, but it’s so good that I’m actually reordering. Everyone has their own preferences; these are mine, all of which this planner has:-White/light ivory paper, not too dark or yellowy-Ink-resistant paper to prevent feathering and ghosting-Print that isn’t so light it’s hard to see (I understand light print for notebooks, so the ruling “disappears” after you’ve written in it, but I actually need to be able to read the dates in a planner. Moleskine, for example, is too hard on my eyes.)-All the monthly spreads up front. This is KEY. Monthly spreads help you page through month by month to do long-range planning and get an overview. Separating them out with the weekly pages makes future planning awkward and inefficient, especially for trips and events that start and end in different months.-Months have 6 rows, so the 30th and 31st never have to be split in half with the 23rd and 24th to fit on the page-Months go Sunday to Saturday. I know that’s very US-centric but it’s what I grew up with. I need to be able to take a quick glance at the monthly pages and not have to recalibrate.-Weeks start on Mondays. They don’t HAVE to, but it’s nice to have the weekends together.-More than just a couple note pages in the back-Hardcover and elastic closureBonuses: Lots of cover colors so you can get a different one each year. A full year overview in two pages in the front. Current and future months with the current week highlighted on each weekly spread. Two ribbon markers (I use them for the current month and current week). Back pocket.I added a stick-on elastic pen loop to the front cover. My latest copy has a sticker correcting a misprinted date. It doesn’t bother me. They fixed it (a wrong date would have been really annoying) and they didn’t discard entire bound books for such a small thing, which would have been a ridiculous waste.

Quality planner with all my preferred features
This is now the fourth year in a row I have ordered Paperage's 12-month weekly & monthly planner. I return to it annually because this planner combines all the features I prefer in a way I haven't been able to find in other products on the market. The paper is journal-quality. All the monthly calendars are clustered together towards the front, so there is no need to hunt for them, and each has a blank column for month-specific tasks and reminders. Every week of the year has 2 pages dedicated to it, on the left a day-by-day one and on the right a blank one; this way, tasks and reminders can be assigned by day or kept free-floating. One of my favorite details is the two ribbons, which keep you oriented to both month and week. Another feature that appeals to me is the array of colors available: it's become an annual tradition now for me to think about what I want from life in the year ahead and then select a color which symbolically corresponds to that. The clean, minimalist design also gives the user ample latitude for customization. I choose to fill my planner with numerous holiday- and season-themed stickers, but a user favoring a more simplistic approach could keep the planner unadorned. Its 5.7 x 8 inch size makes it compact and portable without feeling like I lack the room I need to write things. Finally, the pocket at the back has proven handy in storing small papers, checks, etc. Highly recommended!

Not quite what I expected
Couldn’t tell from the pictures online exactly how it was formatted. I don’t care for the months be on one end and the weeks on the other end. Would prefer the month then weeks in that month, etc.

Make sure to flip through all pages
Received the item thinking it was a good product, but started flipping through the pages and found this. They printed the wrong date and decided to cover it with a sticker. Can’t be charging the full price with a tacky cover up 🤦🏻♀️ Will be returning.

Layout sucks!
Not sure who made these design choices but they don’t work for me and possibly you, reader, depending on how you like to organize your life. All 12 calendar months of the year are at the beginning of the book with all of the weeks following. Like most people, we want a calendar followed by the weeks of that month, not pages and pages away. This was a poor design choice and so I’m having to return it. The book overall is durable and for sub 10$ not a bad deal for a pack of paper essentially. There is also dot grid on the back of each week. The paper though is not thick and the pre-printed text shows thru on the back. If you’re someone who uses colored inks, highlighters, nice pens, and doodles this is not the book you want.
