Just what we wanted!

Brother, like other manufacturers try to force you to use their expensive toner replacement cartridges and go so far as to incapacitate their printer when they recognize a non-Brother replacement. My guess is that they update their firmware from time to time as the last supplier of cartridges worked fine but then when I replaced it with an identical cartridge (I bought 2 at the same time) it refused to recognize not only that but the original one I tried to replace. I tried all the workarounds I found on the internet but tried Tokyoink before I would give up and order a Brother brand. It worked just fine when I installed it. THANK YOU TOKYOINK! AND the print quality it outstanding.

Apparently this does not work with my brother printer mfc270DW even though it's listed as compatible. I am going to reach out to customer support and will update after.UPDATE: I was able to contact customer service and they gave me instructions to reset the toner cartridge within the brother settings menu. This did not work unfortunately. However, TOKYOINK offered to refund me the cost of the purchase. I am therefore raising my rating up to 4 stars because of the speed of their response and offering to refund me the cost which was out of the return period.

Worked great and easy to install!

I installed both cartridges and the printer still said "Replace toner". Toner cartridges were not in a bag, only in foam ends. One was missing the protective cover. I bought a cartridge from a different company and it worked perfectly.

No issues. Installed as expected. No mess. Document printing looks great!

I was skeptical about not buying original brother toner, but it is just as good as oem toner.
