A Renewed Perspective
I had been struggling with motivation and focus for a long time and when I picked up the book, I was taken aback by the hardships Boulad had to go through. He lived through a civil war as a child and used all his experiences to make himself into a better, refined and improved human being. I specifically appreciated the fact that he deep-dived into the details of moderation and how our upbringing plays a major part in defining our habits. I enjoyed that he gave disclaimers before serving us the hard truth which softened the blow in recognizing my shortcomings. I have gained a renewed perspective on prioritizing my health and I completely credit Boulad for that. I’m entirely grateful for this book for showing me how my potential will always have room to grow.

Felt like a new person!
It was incredible to read Boulad’s recollections from his childhood when he had to go through the unimaginable move from his home in Lebanon to Switzerland. His feelings are vividly described which made me picture what he was going through in such a painful situation of a civil war riddled with chaos and helplessness. In this book, I have learned that your struggles define you and play a pivotal role in giving you the right energy to move forward. As I read further, I learned how it is so important to manifest your innermost desires to truly achieve your dreams in life. It is so important to equally focus on all aspects of your health to truly achieve success. I feel like a new person! Highly recommended.

His personal anecdotes make the book relatable and authentic.What stands out is the holistic approach, covering physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. I appreciated the emphasis on mindfulness and self-awareness, along with practical exercises like breathing techniques and guided meditations. However, the abundance of techniques can be overwhelming without clear guidance.

Good Advice/interesting
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Living a Life in Balance, it was well-written and had great story points. Living a Life in Balance by Abdullah Boulad had helpful organizational and health advice. Despite a few spelling mistakes I would highly recommend this book, especially those struggling to get their lives in order.

Saw mindfulness and meditation in a whole new light
I have read several books on health and performance but this book takes the cake. I have never seen such a holistic and progressive stance on how our viewpoint regarding our health can be rebuilt. Boulad has explained techniques to overcome the generational curses that restrict us from being ourselves. I feel rejuvenated when I read “you are entitled to greatness.” I had literal goosebumps! I now admit that it is essential to catch a break and be mindful and practice meditation. Boulad has explained the significance of purpose and vision beautifully and I’m intrigued by how positive affirmations make a massive difference. I now realize pausing and reflecting on our actions and reactions can become a difficult skill to acquire but it requires consistency. This book was hard to put down. Can’t wait to read more from Boulad.
