It's all right
The pieces don't split completely in half, so you have to take apart the siding to get it inside, but I might have had to do that anyway. I ended up not using it for other reasons anyway. If it had worked out, it looks nice and helps to weatherproof the enclosure.

Then put on the cover plate after I caulked the box was very happy
Worked great I was using this product for an after the fact but the way it’s designed you can score the interior plate and snap of the flange so it worked great
