Rust-Oleum 150ml Mirror Effect Spray Paint - Gold

In my case it’s not look like mirror after 5 layers but it’s good gold paint for diy or decoration

My living room mirror was stained by two air fresheners that had sprayed directly onto the mirror causing staining. A couple of sprays and job done, good as new.

This arrived in good time & well packed.I USUALLY love all Rustoleum products and have NO problem with their products.Unfortunately although it has quite a good gold sheen to it …….. it does NOT produce a MIRROR effect. AT ALL.EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.NOT as described & advertised.NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

I have used other gold sprays that have faded after time. I used this to touch up door handles with a clear coat on top. 4 weeks later they still look like I did them yesterday. Great stuff.

Seems like a lot of people writing reviews for this either can’t read instructions or choose not to.This does provide a reflective surface. Not like a modern mirror, more like polished metal.The paint will rub off easily, so once you have the effect you’re going for you should put a protective layer of sealing paint over it (just like every other mirror you’ve ever seen in your life! Of course, in order to do that you need to have painted the reverse side of the glass, which is exactly how this paint is supposed to be used.The silver colour provides much more of a modern mirror effect if that’s actually what you are looking for.

Nice gold finish but top layer seems to wipe off when you touch product. Use with a finish lacquer if you use for furniture.

I was a bit dissapointed by this spray - I used on a flat piece of clear glass and expected to create a reflection - albeit not a smooth one - but it is simply gold now on both sides, like a regular spray paint. I can't see myself in the glass at all, no part of the glass is any more reflective than it was before I applied paint.
