This Red Alder Wood Ornament has a lot of detail. The Angel is cut out of the wood and looks just like the ornament you see when ordering. There are also crosses and doves cut out around the Angel as well. The details within the Angel and around the ornament appeared to be stamped and add to the design. Very light weight and made in the USA. The Angel Ornament has very intricate detail. You can tell it is made from real wood because of the variation in color, which I think adds to its appearance. Even though it is only about ⅛” thick, it feels pretty sturdy. It doesn’t seem like it will break if it gets dropped, but I wouldn't let it get bent. I like knowing that I am purchasing a product made in the USA. This will make a lovely addition to our Christmas tree this year.
