Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Protective SView Case Cover - Black

Superb, slimline and softouch case that looks elegant and stylish. Does not add much bulk to the S7 Edge, and protects the screen nicely in a pocket etc. Once I'd figured out that you have to swipe the camera logo to take photos without opening the case, I was truly sold! Plus, the Always On feature is now supported and notifications are easily visible.By the nature of the case some edge features are limited - for example, overnight I have the edge clock on, which doesn't work with the case closed but I simply either leave the case open or swap to my previous Spigen back-only case. Easy fix :)This is an impressive little case, well worth the outlay. Glad I bought it.

A lovely, neat fitting case, giving complete protection to my phone. I particularly like the window, through which I can turn off alarms and accept phone calls without having to open the case. The case has a solid and yet smooth feel about it. I can definitely recommend it.

Positives:1) Very light and hardly adds to the weight and bulk of the phone. Fits easily into a trouser pocket.2) The plain soft touch matt black plastic cover material can appear at first glance to be a bit cheap and inconsistent with the premium priced phone it contains. But it is well designed and put together. The case has grown on me and it looks as though it will stand the test of time and provide reasonable protection if the phone is dropped.3) The tinted plastic tray holding the phone is a perfect fit and the colour matches the phones metal edges.4) The cover lays flat on the phone and doesn't flap about like some other cases can do.5) Opening the cover wakes the phone and closing it automatically puts it to sleep.6) With the case shut, a quick dab on the power button wakes the clear plastic cover screen, which in addition to providing notification info has two shortcut buttons. The first to make telephone calls the second to take a quick photo or video. The plastic cover screen is touch sensitive, so adjustments and selections can be made with the cover still closed. The ability to shoot photos/video and make/receive phone calls with the case flap closed is a really handy feature.Negatives:1) The screen 'always on' feature does not function with this case, so the rectangular front viewing window goes off after 15 or so seconds. The only way to wake the phone is by pressing the power button or opening the front flap. UPDATE: Nov16. Software update now enables this function (see COMMENTS below)2) It will not display the notifications for every app.e.g whatsapp. As i understand it, only notifications relating to Samsung apps will do so.3) The case does not give the phone a 'wow' factor. More about function rather than bling.That's about it really. I'm pleased i bought this case. Not perfect and not as much functionality as there could be but overall it is reasonable value for money and does a good job.

Excellent protection for my S7 Edge. I have never had a book type case for my previous phones but the Sview Case fits like a glove, does not add bulk to phone and is very practical. Would highly recommend it!Excellent seller, arrived very promptly....would certainly buy from them again.

Corners become ripped very quickly, though case integrity stays. 14 months old now, one plastic corner clip snapped. Still looks neat.

I really like this case - I previously had the same case for my S6.It's pretty strong, the case will close if not held open and has provided protection for all the **many** times I've dropped my phone.Sure, it's not exactly the cheapest case out there, but for the cost and the quality, I'm happy!

Great product is a proper genuine item, have brought a couple in the last few months and the sview window just didn't work at all, with this it does do I'm happy. Only think I would say tbough is that it doesn't fit flush onto the phone when the cover is closed it sits above it a little but may just need beding in.

Fits very nice with the corners of the phone protected which is usually where it lands when you drop it cracking the screen! The flip is also handy as a landscape holder when your watching TV or a movie. You do get finger prints in the clear cover but wipes clean very essy and is great for checking the time but you do need to give it a quick flip.Would be nicer to have a slightly stronger magnet on the cover as when you have it folded back a while it does take a bit of keeping shut. Has this maybe 3 weeks now and it is loosening a little on this.It does make the phone larger so if it only does just fit in your pocket without, it certainly wouldn't with.Happy with it for sure. A genuine Samsung product so does fit very well as you would expect.
