Please read before purchasing!
This is probably the first time I am writing a product review. I am passionate about cars and safety is one aspect I do admire. Therefore, I decided to change the standard headlamps to these Philip racing vision ones which are 150% brighter and totally road legal. They certainly give the car a very good look especially pleased me even though I had high expectations. The bulbs are 55W and totally legal. They don't have that much difference on normal street lighted roads. However, if you travelling on darker roads or on poorly lit roads this does wonders. Overall, don't be mistaken that you will see more powerful lights. They are more brighter with the same intensity and they reach out further and have better clarity on darker roads as the light is more on the whiter tone. This will help all customers to understand this product better and manage their expectations which would otherwise lead to negative reviews for a great product.

The best bulbs I have used.
I replaced the bulbs in my other car last year with these and should have done the same with the Focus. The lights were perfectly adequate but then 1 bulb went and I just bought an ordinary bulb from the garage and didn’t really notice any difference. Then some weeks later the other dip went so I replaced that as the first. It was then I realised how the light output had deteriorated. So now I’m on the same as the other car and can see at night again. I never get flashed as they are set right and must have a decent cut off. I’m expecting the longevity to be good because Phillips a good make.

LONG TERM REVIEW: Works great, until it doesnt...
LONG TERM REVIEW:Bought a 2 pack of these bulbs in early 2019, to replace a nearside bulb. The light is good, a bright white (rather than the OEM fit warm(er) white), and visibility is good. However, yesterday the bulb stopped work (the filament has split). Happily, with the remaining bulb from the multipack I could replace it. But in that time, the bulb on the offside has continued to work perfectly - which I assume is the factory fit bulb. So, the bulb is great, but the longevity could be improved. Whether the 'racing' design of it makes a difference to longevity or not, I'm not sure.

Dont buy cheap Asian copies, its false economy.
I've bought these for every vehicle I've got, be it H7,H4, they are very well made, easy to fit, and do the job they're designed to do, light up the road ahead in a correct M.O.T. approved pattern, unlike cheap Chinese LED's that shine anywhere and blind oncoming motorists. They should be banned from sale in my opinion. The Philips H4 are what I bought for my 650 Burgman, that 150% more brightness does make a difference when out at night riding which I do most of. They are above OE standards, and last much longer. Let's face it Philip's make excellent quality goods.

Excellent upgrade.
I ordered these to upgrade the original bulbs on my Peugeot 107.The original bulbs were not very bright and.jad a yellowish tint about them. After installing these bulbs I have noticed a massive difference! The colour/brightness now is a very bright white and has made a huge difference to night time driving.I recommend these bulbs as an upgrade at a excellent price!Still not as good as LED but a huge improvement.

Slightly better vision, short life, expensive
I am a chauffeur and I drive a lot of time at night so it was always important to have good headlights for better vision. This was the first time that I bought this product and I have experienced quite a few different things with it.Let's start with the good things.Pros: I changed both bulbs as there was a quite a big difference in brightness between regular and a racing vision H7. The difference is very noticeable although don't expect a white LED light effect. It will be still yellow but not as much. It has a little bit white effect compered to other halogen light but still in the yellow spectrum. Unfortunately this is the only positive side of this light.Cons: It will change how your headlights are reflecting as I had to lower it because way to many people flashed at me during my first night. I just bought it couple of months ago but one of them is finished already. Keep in mind that I drive at night approximately 30 hours/week so if we do count how much I've driven with them then they achieved the lifespan said by the manufacturer but on the other hand they are way to expensive to get them replaced every 2 months or less.

Great Product with some drawbacks.
These headlights are surprising bright for the price. They have a good spread along the road and can easily be mistaken for High Beams. Take that SUV's with you bright LED lights blinding me! Seriously though they performed better than I thought they would consider. They did not have the yellowish tinge that I am familiar with. Now for the bad part. One lasted a month and a half until it blew. Being in the country side when happened was bad. But on the good side of this the only time I noticed was when I got out to open a gate and saw I had only one headlight on. This could show that these are still really good at performing. The other bulb has not blown yet and this has been an additional month from when the first one had blown. In Summary I would not buy again, although I was fairly surprised by these lights and their performance. But I would purchase a version of this that was a little more expensive but had a longer bulb life.
