Note going to lie I wanted Field notes books but on UK Amazon they are silly money. These are a great alternative and i bought a field notes leather case and it looks ace. Use them everyday for work.

Early days but so far so good. I needed a notebook and pen I could keep in the pocket of my work trousers so it had to be strong but flexible, not too bulky and have a pen loop. Hmm you might think.Worry not. I also bought a leather notebook cover (Gusti Genuine Leather Wrapper Book Notebook Cover Pad P24) and made a pen loop out of some 50mm wide elastic stitched on to some folded black card which slipped into the leather pocket along with the notebook. The pen is a space pen which is fairly compact (and I have had for years and years) so the whole ensemble isn't too bad. OK it is slightly bigger than a passport, but it fits in my pocket and is always to hand. It won't be long anyway before mobile phones are bigger than this and clothing design has to change to accommodate them so I think I'm 'future-proof'.The cahier is fairly thin and I have always used squared paper of all sizes for non presentational stuff as it helps me keep things neat and tidy. Once one becomes full it will simply be swapped for a new one with the pen holder staying put in the cover.I have overcome the problem of the seam of the note book pockets creating a lump down the page (which only affects the early and later pages of the book generally) by placing another piece of folded card in the front pocket - the pen loop card does the trick at the rear. These effectively create two extra pockets in the cover for tickets and the like.Great little notebooks - if only the contents weren't so mundane bread, milk, biscuits, stamps, call grandma............

Great little notebook

These hold up nicely. I'm on my tenth. I use them for songwriting scribbles, negotiation notes, gaming notes, chess positions. You do pay for the name to a certain extent but they don't break the bank. I consider them a necessary item at a luxury premium, made affordable because, well, they're only little notebooks. They just so happen to be my FAVOURITE little notebooks. I will buy these for as long as they make them.

Not surprisingly, because it's Moleskine, these are good quality. These cahiers also seem to be much can header than other Moleskein products, especially when bought in multi-task. Recommended.

I am always impressed by how high quality these products are. Handy little notebooks - however slightly too large to fit into a pocket (versus the extra small volant) and slightly thinner than expected. Great for jotting quick notes but needs to be carried in a bag. Will become one of my repeat purchases

I buy these over and over again as they stand up great to daily abuse and second half of the books have rippable pages. Small enough to fit in a pocket or small case and come in various types. Great buy

These are excellent quality journals. Well bound, quality paper. Better price than Chapters, delivered to my door.
