I use this as a log book for my amateur radio hobby and it fits perfectly in my bag. There is enough room on each page that I can write one contact per line. I would recommend this because besides being waterproof it’s very robust and the pages don’t rip easily.

The original Rite in the Rain stuff is very good. I work outdoors a lot and these pads whilst expensive are very good for the British weather.

Dose exactly what the description says. The paper was still in good condition when wet

I like the product. The waterproof pages work great and it's still very easy to write on. But it is very thin. I checked the width and height dimensions before ordering but I've never counted the pages of a notebook before and this is a lesson to do so. In the picture you can see the rite in rain book (bottom) is not just thinner than my usual notebook (middle) but also than a regular pencil (top). When I'm doing field work I especially don't want to have to change between notebooks often so that is a shame. Also worth noting it doesn't work with gel pens. It probably says that on their website somewhere but I didn't know until I recieved it.

A superb bit of kit. I often have to make notes outdoors in the rain i.e. booking in etc. When used with the rite in the rain pen it's perfect. I tried to use another 'waterproof' pressurised ink pen but the ink ran when saturated so I would also recommend the rite in the rain pen. Not a disappointing buy in any regard.

Fell out of my pocket into a muddy puddle....... Quick wipe and good as new (well).Recommended if you need to take notes etc whilst outdoors

Top bit of kit. Pencil can be hard to read as the paper is unbleached, but a permanent marker pen - I'm using a Staedtler permanent Lumocolor - with a Fine graded tip does a great job.Alternatively, the Faber-Castel PITT artist pen in 'Dark Sepia 175***' gives an antiqued look to your finished work.

Found out about these from my father who is a 35 year merchant mariner. This book can get completely soaking wet and all your notes will be in tact. Not super great for drawing but if you need to take notes in all weather? This is the thing.

Permet de faire des écrits sous des temps humides, voire très humide.Première et dernière page épaisses ce qui permet d'avoir un ensemble rigide pour écrire.Tres bien pour prendre des notes lors de sorties en forets, campagne quelque soit les temps.Le crayon de papier noir reste le meilleur instrument d'écriture, mais les stylos bic font aussi l'affaire.
