fit great
battery fit and works great! I have played three 18 round since I installed it and the watch has plenty of battery left after each round. My old one was dying at about hole 12. The torx drivers are not he best, I have to use my own for some hard to remove screws.

I recommend this product
Product and kit all worked exactly as described. Many people complain about the torx wrenches being the wrong size and stripping out. You have to make sure you are using the correct size wrench included with the kit and you should have no problem. Watched a YouTube video on replacement, and the whole process took me less than an hour to complete. Charged the watch fully, and turned on a random GPS for a course nearby. So far I've had the GPS on and working for two hours with no loss of battery life. I also read in previous reviews that the battery doesn't start really functioning properly till it is charged and discharged a few times. So far so good. Way cheaper than purchasing a new $200 watch. I would definitely buy this product again.

Stopped working after first use.
I purchased this battery as a replacement for my wife's Garmin Approach S4 Golf GPS. I installed the battery and the watch immediately began to operate normally. My wife charged the battery then used it for a round of golf. When she returned home we put it back on the charger so it would be charged for her next round. After a few holes into her second round using this new battery the display went blank and the watch stopped working. I disassembled the watch and confirmed all of the solder points were still in tact, then re-installed the battery and attempted to charge the battery/watch. I can see that the display is "trying" to come on but despite repeated attempts it appears this battery is a piece of junk.

Watch now running
Battery is correct. Tools leave a lot to be desired. Had to go and purchase a quality screwdriver to get screws out.Battery functioning as it should.

Played 18 holes and still had 60% of the battery left.
This battery is a little tricky to install and the torx tool that comes with the kit to remove the back of the watch is junk but with a good T5 torx and a soldering iron I got the job done in less than 30 minutes after watching a youtube video. I have the Garmin S4 golf watch and I opted to clip the battery wires on the original battery and soldered the new battery wires to those and then used some micro shrink wrap on them and had plenty of room to tuck them back into the watch. The wires on this battery are very thin so I just used a lighter to torch the insulation off of the ends of them before I soldered them . Used the watch today for the first time since battery replacement and still had 60% battery after 18 holes. Overall I would say this is a good battery and for $13 it's a no brainer if you can solder a couple of wires together.

Easy, careful install. Minor soldering task.
I first viewed the YouTube video for my Garmin Approach S3 battery replacement. I was careful about taking the back off and especially about separating the interior ribbon cable but it was really simple. I elected to solder the old wires onto the new batteries post because the old wires were heavier gauge than what came with the battery. I then just snipped off the wires that were pre-soldered to the battery. It was a pretty simple task and I think I used about 400° on the soldering iron, and electrical resin solder etc.

Didn't work for me
They send 4 torx wrenches, I believe 2 are slightly different size from the others. I just couldn't get the band off, but it ended up that it's not totally necessary on the S2.I tried to solder but it didn't work. Probably my lack of soldering skills was the issue. It was worth a try I guess... bought a new watch since the wires were very brittle after 8 years.
