Perfect and easy to fit
Really easy to fit and it looks like new.I do recommend taking ages to clean the old glue off from the old screen. Without the cleaning, it took 10 mins, with the cleaning, over 30 mins.

One of the best screen protectors for the Pixel 2 XL!
I really found it hard to find a good protector for the Pixel 2 XL. This one is by far the best out of the few I've tried.Pros:- Really easy to install, no air bubbles.- Lifetime warranty which the seller honours, no fuss.- Touchscreen has remained responsive.- Has kept my phone in great condition, even after a drop onto concrete face down (It was also in a case though).Cons- Can be nudged loose by some cases that wrap around the phone a bit unless the protector has been installed absolutely perfectly.- Yes, there is a rain bow effect when the screen is black and viewed at an angle, but who realistically uses the phone in this manner? Wasn't a bother for me at all.Whilst it's not perfect and does take away from the great aesthetics of the phone, I really think it's worth the price when you consider the cost and frustration of a screen repair.

TechMatte Pixel 2 - XL Screen Protector: Best of the bunch in an imperfect world
Great Product. This is now my 3rd Screen for my Pixel 2 - XL. First two were purchased off eBay. All have been the Tempered Glass type.Screen 1: All adhesive type. It was not able to cope with the curved edges of the phone and was 2mm smaller than Pixel 2 - XL screen. This caused a halo effect around screen protector edged as it was unable to bond properly to the screen due to the curve. It made my phone look less than premium so I sent it back and got refunded.Screen 2: Similar to the TechMatte i.e. Black Border, Dot Matrix and adhesive only around the edge. Nice fit and easy to install. However, it left no space for a case, hence when a case was fitted the protector would lift off (lose adhesion) at the corners. This meant that the touchscreen would only work at these points with a hard press because of the increased air gap. Additionally, when using the squeeze function of the Pixel 2 - XL phone the entire protector would fall off. Needless to say, this screen protector was also returned for a refund.Screen 3: TechMatte Screen Protector. Nice Package, with no scrimping on wet wipes (x2), dry wipe (x1) and dust removal stickers (x6). Very easy installation, simple to align and adjust because the adhesive is only on the border. I chose to let my screen adhere overnight before installing my Spigen case. After fitting the case there is a gap of ~0.5 mm to the screen protector, this is just enough to allow for the flexing of the case and phone without interfering with the screen protector. This is important because the Pixel 2 - XL is a squeeze phone.Note 1: despite them saying "Invisible Dot Matrix", the dots ARE visible but not too obtrusive as you tend to focus on the content being displayed on your phone. The dots a most noticeable in standby mode or when the phone isn't held parallel to your face. The dot matrix is needed because of the air gap between the protector and the phone screen, so I am prepared to put up with this for the sake of improved touch sensitivity.Note 2: Some users have complained of a rainbow effect. This is most noticeable under fluorescent lighting (see picture) and if you look at the screen at a 30-45 degree angle. I generally hold the phone so it is parallel to my face, so it is not a major issue.Despite these two minor flaws, I am still happy to recommend the TechMatte Pixel 2 XL screen protector. It's definitely an improvement over the previous ones I had tried. With a lifetime warranty thrown, the choice is simple. TechMatte just needs to improve their slooooow Website and implement SSL/TLS.

The best screen protector out there
I've had my Google Pixel 2XL since 2016 and I've probably had 4 or 5 of these screen protectors. Each one has lasted a long time considering just how much I drop my phone. The protector itself breaks, but it takes some doing, but my phone screen underneath is in perfect condition. Installation is also really easy, the easiest of any screen protector I've had. I really can't fault these protectors and that's why I keep retuning to them after they take too much damage.

THE WORST SCREEN PROTECTOR I'VE EVER USED
This product is utterly useless, at first it seems great and fits kinda well (a few air bubbles that are impossible to get rid of), but just like any other person on earth you will inevitably drop your phone on occasion and the first time i dropped my phone the screen protector CAME OFF!I thought it was perhaps the way i stuck it on.. perhaps it was my fault, so i reapplied it to my phone and a few days later it came off in my pocket! So i applied it again... and i think you can sense a pattern here. Over and over and over again it has happened, and i keep having to stick it back on my phone! And oh did i mention once it comes off if a spec of dust goes on the underside of the screen protector it burrows itself in and lives there forever as its impossible to clean the underside of it. And once you finally get all the dust off of the underside you notice that its scratched beyond use because the underside is so soft and that is not meant for cleaning... and finally the straw that broke the camels back was of course it fell of about 5 minutes before i wrote this review and inevitably landed on the floor soft side down and got covered with all sorts, so i started cleaning it and the thing BROKE IN HALF IN MY HAND.......... Honestly i have never written a bad review EVER this is my first and its because the product is garbage. The so called 'adhesive' is as useful as my 4 year old's Pritt stick, i wouldn't mind so much and im not usually a complainer but the product costs 10 pound and boosts about how good it is!So iv'e listed the pros and cons below.Pros:- The package the product came in looks sleek and is packed well.- The product works for the first like 12 hoursCons:- The product is rendered usless once you drop it because the adhesive is awful- THE ADHESIVE IS AWFUL!- When i applied it i noticed in certain lights there would be a rainbow smudge pattern where the product wasnt flush with the screen kinda like an air bubble no matter what this wouldn't leave!- It doesn't work.Avoid this product.
