Looks good, easy to install, great value
These cameras arrived quickly and were exactly what I was hoping for. I installed them at the front and rear of my house and they look the part!I didn’t bother with the battery and flashing LED, as I’ve never seen any cameras that actually have a red light. They look fine without it.Installation was easy enough - it required a power drill with a masonry bit in my case to make a couple of holes for the screws. The kit includes raulplugs. One thing I could helpful though was to remove the camera from the base and reattach it once the base had been affixed ton the wall. It was a little tricky getting the screw angle but not too bad.The camera has a hinge that can let it be mounted to a wall looking out or to an overhanding ceiling if needed. In terms of looks they look good from a distance. The little wire tucks into the base and looks realistic enough for my needs. At this price it’s a bargain. What’s more, I gave my spare two to a neighbour and made their house safer too.

Very Good For The Price
Just fitted 3 of these, and to me they look very good considering how cheap they are. No doubt a professional crook would suss them as fakes, but they are useful as a visual deterrent, especially with the warning stickers. A few things of note:1. Easy to fit - I made a template out of piece of card and marked the 4 holes to save holding the camera up to mark the drill the holes. Just drill 4 holes, rawlplug and screw (used my own as better than in the box).2. I did erase the CCD decal with nail polish remover to make it look more generic, but think that CCD possibly means Charged Coupled Devices used in digital cameras rather than Closed Circuit Dummy as some have suggested.3. The arm that connects the camera to the wall is rather flimsy, and time will tell how it fares with the British weather.4. I drilled 4 holes, one for the fake wire to go into through the hole on the mounting plate.5. I didn't put in batteries as suggested by other reviews, and cable tied the fake wire to the mounting arm.6. I put them high up, to prevent too close a look at, and prevent tampering.7. The packaging was fine, each one in an individual box, and the way they are packaged means you have to loosen a screw and turn the camera before fitting - a 1 minute job.8. Each camera comes with a sticker, but I had already ordered different ones. The ones in the box are fine though.

Thay look perfect a great deterrent for one a be burglars, great value for money
Easy to install, look like the real thing, I didn't bother to install battery's as real CCTV doesn't have the flashing lights, hopefully people will think twice before thinking about coming on to my property. Go great with the security lights also. Big Thumbs up

Very realistic and great to get the CCTV stickers with it
I bought these and shared them with my neighbour at the allotment after some vandalism on other plots. We both have them up and they work very well. Who knows if it's kept people off our plots but anything that acts as a deterrent is a good thing. They each take 2 AA batteries that are very easy to put in, you can easily replace the batteries without having to remove the whole camera from the wall. I used some black irrigation tubing to look like a wire running from the camera into the ground (in case someone looks closely) and so they really do look like the real thing!

cheap, useful as an adjunct to a working system.
You need two AA batteries for each dummy CCTV camera and, from a distance, they look quite realistic. With each lamp you get a CCTV warning sticker and, when installed with batteries and fake power lead suitable disguised they fool anyone who might not know how to tell the difference. You need to be careful with the screw and thread that joins thew camera to its support mount - I broke one very easily and had to find a suitable screw to rejoin the parts. Close up, they might not be so convincing, but the red video light that flashes on an off will probably deter the mildly curious. I have doubled up with a real system so I use these as a deterrent without actually relying on them to do the job. As a first line of defence, with a backup, working system, I think that I have got most things covered. They are cheap and look the part, so are a great adjunct to the real thing, but not, in my opinion, good enough on their own, Nevertheless, they do look the part, from a distance.

BW Dummy CCTV Camera
Much improved over the cameras I have previously used. The battery compartment is completely shielded from any water ingress and is located behind the dummy lens and not on top of the camera as on other makes. The sunshade is fixed and does not slide down the camera again unlike other ones I have used. Looks to be a good camera but I can't comment on the battery life as I have only just installed them.
