Pretty much the best available calcium booster
This is a great product. For years we have used granule calcium boosters in our hot tubs. They work fine, but they come in larger tubs, can be messy when adding, and they are difficult to measure easily unless you use a scoop. I finally decided to give this a try.First off, using a liquid really gets rid of all the negatives that I had about using granule calcium boosters. It is even pretty easy to guess how much you are adding by just pouring it in. Pretty simple process. This makes the purchase worthwhile in of itself. Now, I will say that I wish it was a cheaper product. Compared to buying granules, it is definitely more expensive. However, with a calcium booster, it is not a product you use all the time (like say chlorine). You use it pretty much once you fill your tub and then it is pretty much left alone (adding a little at a time as needed). This means you don't need a lot all the time. A slight increase in money is not a big issue in this regard because it isn't needed often.Another minor quibble I have is that the seal of the bottle could be a little easier to take off. It wouldn't be hard to have a little part that is easy to grab and peel off the seal when opening the bottle like many things you buy come with. Oh yeah, it has a great locking top too which is nice. There are a few negatives, but they are easily offset by the ease of use. The negatives really don't detract from the 5 star product that this is, and I went into buying this knowing it was slightly more expensive (like most people buying this probably do) and I will continue to buy as needed without hesitation to help have a crystal clear spa.

Works for me.
I've been using Leisure time products in my swim spa for over five years. The print on the bottles are hard to read for my old eyes, and it would be nice if they broke out the quantity per gallon in a larger print and easy to find. Besides that, the chemicals are easy to work with, don't have any outlandish chemical odor and work well in my pool. Oh, and the plastic bottles are great for storing other things. I just rinse them out really well, let them sit outside and dry then store away until I need them.

Works! Whole bottle used and got my hardness levels correct.
Worked well! Used the whole bottle in a 360/400 gallon max fill hot tub and it brought our super soft water almost at a 0 on the scale up to the middle of what is a good range. Been steady and now tested for 4 weeks and the water hardness remains maintained. Our hardness was below 30 here in Washington State and again this made it go perfectly in the range reccomended.

A little Calcium will do
We were going thru the Bromine tabs fairly fast until I got the Calcium booster to add to the water. Now our Bromine and other chemicals stay balanced much longer. Where I live in Longview, Washington the water here isn't hard enough. Adding the Calcium helps to build more minerals in the water and in turn make the water harder which helps the chemicals in the spa stay more balanced. You lucky folks that live in areas that have hard water may not need to add this to your chemicals. It was listed in the book that came with our starter kit when we bought our spa. I'm in the process of buying different chemicals here on Amazon so that we have enough of everything to keep our spa up and running as long as the weather here permits. So far the prices have all been pretty good though the Bromine tabs - the sanitizer for the spa is rather spendy compared to the other chemicals but then I bought the 4 lb. size so it would hopefully last us thru the summer and into the fall until it gets too cold and we have to shut it down for the winter. If you're going thru the Bromine fairly fast this is recommended in the booklet and from our own use I recommend buying the Calcium booster to your chemicals.

This Liquid Calcium booster is so much better then using granular
This Liquid Calcium booster is so much better then using granular Booster to increase the total harness level of hot tub water.I used about 20oz to boost my 300 gallon hot tub to the appropriate hardness level. The granular calcium booster may be cheaper in price but in my experience, the granular calcium doesn’t dilute well in the water.
