We have very heavy fire doors with chains that pull the doors closed. The door stop doesn’t slip at all on hard floors or carpet. They are very high quality, they feel amazing. When you try to move them they do fall over and roll away. My dog doesn’t try to play with it. Recommended

I read a few reviews about these. They use them at my place of work and being the snob that I am I just had to have them at home. I can assure you these aren’t counterfeit as someone mentioned in the reviews. Paperwork and box is correct. They’re the real deal and look gorgeous

Excellent weighty 2kg doorstop with rubberised bottom and sizes to prevent damage to the floor and door.Finish is not as shiny as in the pictures.Only downside is it is rather expensive at least for me.

2kgs is enough to work well on quite heavy doors, and it’s tall enough to work on doors with high clearance. Rubber base helps stop it sliding on tiled floors (although it does still slide, and won’t stop a large door in a gust of wind). The rubber rim helps avoid dings and dents to the door. Works best either on carpet, or when used as a shock absorber between door and wall to stop the door handle slamming into the wall.

Solid, good looking, precision German engineering. Recommended. Just the job for heavier doors.

Der Blomus 68306 ist wirklich ein wertiges Teil!Der kann auch mal ne Tür im Windzug sicher halten.Das Gewicht wird mit 2kg angegeben- bei mir bringt er 2,1kg auf die Waage.Peinlich genau sollte man darauf achten dass man den Stopper nicht in die Laufwege der Wohnung stellt- angenommen man läuft nachts z.B. Barfuß dagegen könnte es schmerzhaft werden.Qualität und vor allem Blomus-Produkte hat sein Preis- dafür bekommt man funktionelle Produkte im modernen Design.Ich hab den Stopper hier im Tagesangebot zu fairem Preis bekommen- bei der UVP würde ich schon dreimal überlegen.

took a long time to get here, but coming from so far and apparently was not able to be flown so had to be delivered overseas by land only. This thing is huge! much bigger than I thought but heavy and good quality. works well as a door stop for our front door. We have mirrors behind our front door so it works well not to bang the door into the mirrors so far. Hopefully it doesn't shift too much because it can't be installed into the floor but it's heavy enough to stay put I think.

This door stop is awesome. I searched and searched for something that could be used to keep an exterior door from slamming into a piece of furniture. It had to be tall enough the the door didn't simply open over the door stop yet not too tall so as to look silly. And it had to look classy, it's in a dining room. I tried one of those rope knotted nautical looking things and it didn't work at all, wasn't heavy enough. This piece is very heavy and has a rubber bottom so it doesn't simply move with the door, it really stops it. And the rubber on around the sides keeps it from damaging the door. Right after purchasing my contractor suggested a heavy duty bracket to attach to the door hinge so in the end I didn't need the stop any longer BUT though my husband would have preferred I return it as it was a bit pricey, it was so cool that I kept it! for those rare times that I want to keep the door open (vs. stopping it) and the wind blows it shut.
