Can't go wrong
Okay, this isn't a professional board. But I'm not a professional player. This is sturdy, pretty, and real fun. You /will/ need some powder to play at all really, but that's easy enough - Holland and Barrett stock potato starch, and a bag of that could last you years. You also might want to upgrade the striker, but again, no biggie, and you can play with the one that comes with happily enough. After several years it probably will warp, but hopefully you'll have enjoyed it enough by then anyway. Think of it this way, if the pro tables are like slate pool tables, this is a plywood pool table - won't last as long, but still a great deal of fun at a fraction of the cost. So, if you want a lot of casual fun with friends, or to try out a fun new flicking game, you can't really go wrong.

Board quality is good at the start looses its smoothness over the time.

Great family game
What a great piece of kit. I am brand new to the game of Carrom so don’t have anything to compare it to but the board seems straight and reasonably solid (2mm thicker than others at this price and has 3 brace strips of wood on the back which should prevent warping). On the day it arrived we played without using the powder and struggled to get the striker to travel the full length of the board but now with Carrom powder it travels 2-3 times before stopping which has made a huge difference. I also bought a new striker which is a little heavier and plastic rather than wood.

Not worth the price
Just arrived yesterday, looks sturdy and good built. Surface is rough so without powder you cannot on day1 so make sure you order the powder else it will be of no use.Striker is of the worst quality possible, pieces all are of same colour except it seems dark colour was spilled over to make few of them darker. No powder which is expected as they mentioned in the description.For the price I was expecting at-least better pieces and striker and a small pouch of powder would have helped.

Arrived a few days late. Played one game so far.The board looks to be sturdy and has wooden supports/struts under it that should prevent warping. The black/dark counters are not very well dyed but are discernable from lighter ones.

Very nice quality. Though being prime member, this Item wasnt delivered within the time I expected. however, its very nice. Its bigger than what i assumed.Very sturdy carrom board. Recommended for starters.
