I used this product to mount a weather proof gang box outside to my vinyl siding. The box is 6”x3.5” and holds Ethernet connections leading to an outdoor WiFi antenna. The tape adheres through rain or hot sun and works perfectly so I didn’t have to drill holes.

Except for the price, this is great tape. Front decorative metal piece came off microwave and wouldn't hold anymore. This 3M tape is double-sided and heat resistant. Fixed the problem and still holding. Mom's a happy camper again.

Use it to hold lights on a motorcycle and it worked fantastic

So far, so good. I have had good results with 3M products.

Not for a heavy duty project.

I'm happy with this purchase. It's a lot of high-quality tape for a low price, and it seems to work fine for my application: sticking resistors for my directionals to the inside of my plastic headlight housings. These resistors get extremely hot and will melt the plastic housing (or wire insulation, or whatever other meltable thing) if allowed to touch it; this tape has alleviated that problem. Bravo.

I bought this to stick something onto my air fryer. First, the red backing is hard to remove. Second, the "tape" stretches like gum. Third, it doesn't stick! It would NOT stick to the plastic, you can see that in the picture. Useless.
