Vita WorldR (+) Alpha Lipoic Acid 200mg 100 Capsules R+ Form Made in Germany

Decided to try this form of ALA some time ago, despite the expense. I believe it has helped to reduce the effects of my peripheral neuropathy, though one can never be certain in these matters. Whatever, I shall continue to re-order, as, for me, it is a high quality and possibly effective product.

I have used R-alpha Lipoic Acid for several years. I have even bought it in bulk powder form in China. It is yellow and when consumed after a short while your urine has a characteristic smell. This particular product was pure white when received and did NOT deliver the characteristic smell from my urine or that of my wife too. I referred the issue to the supplier who claimed that the product was genuine, which it clearly was not. I returned the remainder to the Company at my expense and asked them to test and confirm in case this was a faulty batch so that they could isolate the problem. They have since claimed that the product still was genuine without any test result to substantiate their claim. They say that storage and humidity can cause the product to turn white, but this product was white from receipt. Furthermore, I have held powder form R-Alpha for up to two years in humid Asia with NO colour change. The only change was a coagulation of the powder into a gum.

Not impressed with this . I suffer from neuropathy have been taking r-alpha lipoic acid to try and relieve the symptoms of this. It was working, then I decided to swap to this brand and within 3 days of taking them the neuropathy has come back worse than ever. This is too much of a coincidence. I can only think this is a poor quality product.
