Q: Anybody knows about the warranty? Le Crust has life-time warranty, how about this brand?

The life time warranty in le creuset is not work for me, my LC pot was over cook by accident after using 6months, also a piece was fall off from the pot, I can see the iron, so I won't use it, I rang to LC they said this is not included in the warranty, before they will sent back to France to repair but not anymore, cost too much for the postage. I'm not sure staub warranty how long but I find staub are easy look after then LC also can clean after I over cook in black.

Q: in the technical details it says it's 6.7L, in the product description it says 5.85L and in an answer someone said 4L... how many Litres is it????

I've just filled mine with water 6 L will fill it right to the rim. jon

Q: Is it better to overfill or underfill - usually make 2-3 portions and wondering what size to get...?

Mine holds 8.5 Quarts, which is a great asset for me, as I batch cook Stews etc, for freezing, and portioning, for my 92 Year Old Father-in-Law.. I'm not sure exactly what you mean about the "over/under filling", but in my opinion, it seems it is better to have too big a pot, and not fill it completely, than to have too small a pot, and have to then get a bigger one. Get the biggest size you can afford, because my experience taught me that Frozen Stews, Soups, Bolegnaise Sauce and Chile Con Carne all freeze wonderfully well, so make enough for 2 meals (or 4 if your Freezer can hold them). It's not a lot more work to double or triple your recipes, and you'll thank yourself when you can't face a big marathon meal, but have them to hand, in the freezer already for reheating.
