Amazon Basics USB-C to Micro USB 2.0 Cable for Smartphone- 15.2 cm, Black

I use this to connect my dongle DAC to my iPhone, works fine. The cable has the quality feel and look of something more expensive. A good buy in my view.

I needed a short cable to connect my surface go with an ESP32 for a uni project. This was perfect for the job, and it was short enough to leave plugged into my ESP board so it doesn't get lost.

After my ecig ran out of batteries in the highstreet, I though about getting a small power bank for emergencies...Then I thought "My phone has a 3500 mAH battery - why do I need to carry something else?!".This cable fits between my phone (Pixel 1 - USB-C) and my ecig (micro usb), and allows the ecig to charge off the phone.Concept proven, be nice if there was an even smaller version, perhaps some sort of "key chain" sized adaptor, but at least proves it works.Maybe a bit expencive at £6, but not a common cable / lot of other uses I guess.

I bought this cable to be able to use Radsone ES100 bluetooth DAC as a wired DAC. I note that it's not mentioned in the description (I suspect because the target market isn't audio enthusiasts) but I can say it works for this!I like that it comes in very minimal packaging which is good from a sustainability perspective. It appears to be well made with robust sheathing but only time will tell how it holds up. From an audio quality perspective I get no cut outs and everything fits in nice and solidly. For the price can't go wrong!

Bought to recharge my phone (USB C) from ebike battery (via Intuvia micro usb) and it didn't work.The actual cable was fine in good condition so don't know it it was the wrong cable or if was faulty.

I switched phones - from a 2018 Android with micro USB port to a 2024 Android with USB-C. I did a file transfer (~31GB) between phones via this cable instead of wirelessly and it was done in 7 minutes.
