Cooler MasterNotePal I300 Laptop Cooling Pad '160mm Fan, 2 Height Settings, Supports Up to 17” laptops' R9-NBC-300L-GP

Keeps my little Samsung Netbook nice and cool. It has two USB slots on the back and the power button. It also has a dial on the side for selecting RPM. However it's not THAT powerful so it's always going to be on max. The pad is powered by USB. The nice thing about it having two USB slots is that you don't lose a USB slot on your laptop when its plugged in, because the device you want to plug into the spot the pad is taking up, can in fact be plugged into the pad and the laptop will still pick up the device as normal which is just awesome.Build quality is nice. The blue glow is in my opinion rather awesome, however can't be switched off so this may be annoying to some as your laptops battery may be powering something you don't even want.Only niggle I have is more to do with my netbook than the pad itself, but because the pad sits on a slant sometimes this can affect viewing angle as my Samsungs screen doesn't go back far enough to compensate for this. Although I've noticed many of my friends netbooks screens swivel much further back than mine so the majority of people will not suffer this problem.Great product would definitely recommend. In fact, I have and they too love it :P

i bought a very expensive gaming laptop a year ago and the cooling system burned out from it just being idle and rarely gamed on so after sending it for repair the company suggested to me this exact model having used it with his own laptop. Its so quiet i forget its there. I leave it on the lowest setting as it keeps the whole thing really cool. I think this is great value for money and works great. Looks good to, i love the fact i can kick up the speed when i wana run some call of duty.

Bought this due to my laptop over heating a lot, arrived in fast good time and no problems with delivery. The notepal has a usb connector on back right meaning you need a usb connection on the right of your laptop as the connector wont really stretch to connect to the left usb connectors. it will take away one usb connection however it gives you and extra one on the back on the notepal itself. The size is good for my laptop as i have 15 inch and it fits perfectly, the notepal is really light and the blue light is a really cool feature. The fan itself is pretty quiet and the speed is able to be controlled on the side which is nice but you will probably always have it on full. There are also legs on the bottom with can be used to raise it up but I've never needed to use them as there is plenty of ventilation even if i'm sitting with it on my bed. Only problem I have with this product is it adds an inch onto the thickness of your laptop which is a nitpick quite honestly, but could affect the portability of your laptop if you want to take this with you. If your laptop keeps over heating i strongly suggest getting this or something similar.

Keeps my laptop cool while I play. It is a little loud for me but, idk if I can really expect anything to be quieter. I like to keep my audio on the quiet side compared to most so when I have this running I have to up the volume. With a headset on I don't think you'd hear it at all.

Great fan for the money it cost, it helps keep my laptop nice and cool for basic day-to-day things, struggles a little when playing high fps games.

This product enables me to use my laptop on my lap! Novel I know but normally the fan would be blocked by my leg causing the CPU to heat up. I am very pleased with product, its fairly quiet and does a good job of keeping the CPU cool

Works well and has a very attractive (but not distracting) base blue LED light to show when it is on. Great quality for the 20 quid. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good deal though do a search to see if there is a newer model or something even better is now available.

Not as quiet as I'd hoped as it makes a grumble noise which is very annoying. It doesn't cool my MSi GS60 effectively on the bed even though it sucks air from the bottom and side because of the constricted airflow. Worst of all there are no rubber gromits to stop the laptop from sliding down! This caused some of the rubber gromits on my laptop to fall off which I've had to glue back on.All in all poor design, I expected better from cooler master, especially with the fan noise. I even looked at other reviews before buying this. Honestly, avoid this product.
