I bought the Crucial P3 Plus 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD as additional storage for a PS5, and after around two years of use it has performed flawlessly. Installation was straightforward—the drive fits perfectly into the PS5’s expansion slot with no clearance issues, and the console recognised it immediately. I haven’t run any formal speed tests, but every game I’ve installed has loaded and run exactly as expected, with no slowdowns, errors, or odd behaviours. For everyday use, it feels indistinguishable from the internal storage. After two years of trouble-free performance, it’s proven to be a dependable and convenient way to expand PS5 storage without any hassle.

I've been running the same system and same storage since 2018, a standard HDD and SSD boot drive combo. Over the last year I've noticed a significant drop in performance with applications and games. I attributed this to my hard drive where those programs were stored due to it's slow read and write speeds when i monitored them. I finally chose to purchase a new larger SSD to store games and applications and decided on this SSD as it was well reviewed, well priced and boasted some good specs. The installation was easy, apart from my own hiccup. When installing, make sure other storage drives are plugged into sata ports that won't be disabled when inserting a new SSD. Checking your motherboard's manual will let you know which sata ports will be unusable. Once that issue was sorted, I checked the BIOS, confirmed the SSD was recognised. Launched the PC, found the drive and partitioned it. It was ready to go. Since moving some video games like fortnite and valorant, I've noticed much faster loading times, reduced lag and no crashes. If you're having similar issues with performance, I highly recommend picking up one of these.

great performance and affordable NVME. it does not need any form of cooling plate so I was able to install it on the back of my motherboard. after observing for a few days during gaming and normal workload it does not seem to really heat up

Ha soddisfatto pienamente le mie aspettative, migliorando le prestazioni del mio PC ormai (più che) datato. Avevo già un SSD SATA nel mio PC, ed ho usato questo nuovo modulo SSD per soppiantare un hard disk standard; ed il picco della velocità di trasferimento di file di grandi dimensioni s'è moltiplicato all'incirca per tre (da 120 MB/s a poco più di 400 MB/s). N.B. Occorre tener presente che l'incremento delle prestazioni dipende (non poco) dalle caratteristiche della scheda madre del PC (nonché dal suo corretto funzionamento), ovviamente.

Lo compre para remplazar un Kingston que me salió defectuoso y este funciona de las mil maravillas, muy rápido, y el precio es bastante competitivo, es una buena alternativa a los WD, en fin no vuelvo a comprar Kingston, está marca y WD son mis preferidas.
