Canon LS-123K Calculator (Blue) - 12-digit display with tax function

Great colour, love the double 00s

This is a very good and reliable calculator. It has come in handy many times when I need to do maths. I really like that it has a button that adds two 0s which makes it much quicker when dealing with big numbers and I like how it has a solar panel to make the battery last longer. It also looks very nice and feels high quality. The only bad thing about this calculator is the battery is not designed to be user replaceable. It says in the instructions that come with it that when the battery goes flat you have to send it to a Canon service centre if you want the battery replaced and it doesn't say if they will charge just for the battery or charge for the battery and a service fee. Apart from that it's a great calculator and if the battery was user replaceable it would be perfect. It's the best calculator I have ever used. Batteries normally last many years in a calculator so you won't have to worry about replacing the battery for a long time.

Had to get this as my previous calculator didn't have sufficient digits. The funky colour gets noticed in the office and makes it easy to find amongst the debris on my desk ! Useful instruction leaflet inside, there are loads of special features on this calculator.

Bought this because for some reason we only had one calculator in the office and my colleague kept nicking his back. Well I suppose it is HIS! Anyway I bought the pink one because I reckon he won't bother swiping it and I'll be able to locate the bright colour on my desk easily. It's gorgeous. Not something I often say about a calculator! Others have mentioned the odd placement of the 0 and 00 - can't say it's bothering me in the slightest. Feels lovely to use and even though I probalby won't bother to get a replacement battery when it eventually runs out, the calculator has a solar panel so that's also not much of an issue. The whole thing is light enough that it won't add much weight to my bag if I decide to cart it home of an evening but rugged enough to withstand normal use. Keys are responsive. Altogether delighted.

This is a great calculator. Bought to replace an earlier version that was becoming a little temperamental. My muscle memory is just having to get used to the fact that the zero button and the double zero button have swapped places!

Just what I needed for the bedroom. I should have looked closer at the size in one sense, as I have a wonderful Polish tray with legs I use for the laptop. This tray has a small drawer, but alas the calculator is too large. Still, I probably need the larger size for my dwindling eyesight.
