Best for Convenience
I stuck this onto a Ryzen 2700X in a 3D printed Mini ITX chassis. Is this the best CPU cooler? No, not at all. But it's sufficient, even for a fairly hot-running CPU. It's extremely convenient due to its slim profile and small size, and has been doing a sufficient job cooling. It looks great in the case. Easy installation as well. I'm very happy with this, and will happily use it for more low-profile budget-oriented builds in the future.

Just good
It is i5-10600kf, the TEMP is fine. But I didn't install the backplate, even though the backplate prevents the motherboard from bending. I think there is a problem with the design of the backplane, it will press the components around the fixing screw holes of the main board, so I use four plastic spacers with holes to solve it, and the other four fixing screws passing through the main board are also relatively thin , and not safe.

Three stars for mounting system that is barely usable on the AM5 platform
Thermalright should redesign the mounting system for the AMD socket AM5 platform.Since the stock backplate now retains the LGA bracket, and Thermalright is simply poking a screw through the existing holes and using a nut on the backside to retain the system, the cheap nut driver they include with the kit for installation of the nuts makes awful contact with the backplate. It's also easy to strip the nut driver. It's difficult to adequately tighten the nuts, and you're going to remove metal from the backplate. You don't want those tiny bits of metal floating around inside your case or on your components. For the price, the cooler works fine for my application. The only gripe I have is the mounting system. I have used the exact same mounting system on an AMD socket AM4 platform, but since you can remove the stock backplate and use the backplate that Thermalright provides, installation is much smoother in that case. The fan is not the quietest, however the cooler is relatively small and cheap, so that is to be expected. Definitely quieter and more performant than the stock AMD Stealth cooler that comes with most of their lower cost CPU's.

USE AMD stock back plate for AM4 board !!!!
it took me a while to figure out how to actually use this with socket AM4. by the dirrections, the cooler could posibly break things OR you could just use the stock back plate that came with your AM4 motherboard and be safe. Good cooler for the $$$, but very very dumb AM4 moutning procedure from the manufacture.

it just works
Have three, currently cooling a i5-13600k/i7-9700/R5-5600x trio. I don't overclock or liquid cool; my priorities are low-profile & quiet for HTPC setups, which this is. You might get something else 1-2 degrees cooler but it will cost quite a bit more.

Scam defected products
Another defected fan that will not fit anything. They get these from the factories before scrapping and sell them to Americans. The fans do not fit and were disatded for scrap so they were stolen as well. The real company is missing its scrap profits or this company is selling defected products to people who know they are defected and they are reselling and scamming people with scrap metal and non recyclable plastics. People like this are all over amazon right now.
