Look and feel of good quality
When they arrived I was very pleased with their appearance and solidity. They look and feel well made. First impression is that they will wipe clean well and retain their. Time will tell.

I was very disappointed when these place mats arrived, having sent for different ones from different sellers a few months ago (for various reasons - prefer them to doylies) which were such a delight !They are perfectly well made and I must stress there is nothing wrong with them, but I found them oh so small, so please measure up and check dimensions before ordering - this is my only criticism.Suffice to say, we will keep them but just use them if extra guests appear from time to time. The search goes on !!

OK for the price, but these placemats are rough to the touch and a small part of the veneer on one of them broke off. They do a job but for dinner settings, I would look for a higher quality product.
