This balm stick is similar to chubby sticks provided by other make up brands. It has a crayon like top and twist up bottom which pushes up more product. The stick has a creamy texture and tingles a bit when applied to the lips, it has a minty taste and smell which I quite like.The colour was quite a bit deeper than what I had expected but it still a nice shade. The mauve shade is also quite a pinker than I had imagined it to be but is a very nice my lips but better colour for those with medium to darker skin.Because it is a chubby stick style balm it is very easy to apply, and for those who do not usually like wearing lip sticks or other lip products it is a really good in-between because the balm can give you just a hint of colour rather than a bold lipstick shade. The balm has good staying power throughout the day, but like with most drug store lip products you will need a reapplication after eating. This is not a major issue considering this is the case with most lip products and considering the price point of this particular one.The only downside to this product is that if you want to go for more of a lipstick application, as in a bolder coat, the application does come out quite heavy and a little bit strong. Therefore this product is definitely better for more of a lighter application to add a hint of colour to your lips rather than a bold application.Overall I have really enjoyed using this product, I like the creamy texture and think the mauve colour suits a range of skin tones.

I like the product as it's very creamy and easy to apply and take off however, I wanted a nude lip product and this is quite pink and more of a lip coloured lip product rather than a nude but overall it is a nice product and it is a nice colour but it is pink not nude

Beautiful red shade, glides on smooth and very pigmented. One of the few ones that turn out good on me (especially since I have pigmented lips). Couldn't find it it stores and was glad to see it on Amazon. I don't use much and one stick lasts ages (without change in composition). Just keep it away from heat.

First it didn't arrive then the wrong colour arrived, third time recieved "Give Me A Cuddle", and it's for these reasons I've given 3 stars otherwise it would have been 5. The colour and texture is great and this colour is pretty similar to my own lip colour so it's triple beneficial. People are always very complimentary when I wear it. I'd order again, and give a chance to be 5 stars.

This lipstick has become one of my favorite, the more I use it, the more I like it.It is the perfect my-lips-but-better, easy to wear and perfect for day time.The colour pay off is good, even if this lipstick is sheer: it is between lipstick and lipgloss.It is confortable to wear and lasts for some hours, surviving tea time.If your are looking for a nude, probably this is not for you, because it is not a light shade, but a medium one (for reference I am Mac nc20).It is an automatic pencil, so you don't need a pencil sharpener, you just have to twist the bottom: no mess, no waste.Last but not least, this is not made in China -like a lot of cheap beauty products- this is made in Italy.
