It feels and smells like leather even though it's vegan leather. The case is very solid and durable and protects the iPad mini from nicks and drops. Pencil holder is great since it secures the Pencil inside rather than be unprotected on the outside. The strap is nice and keeps the front cover secure when moving around. It also makes the iPad mini look like a notepad / notebook so it keeps the iPad from looking like a tablet device asking to be stolen. Over time, the vegan leather will have a nice "aged" look like a typical leather case. Also, the case has multiple angles for your screen, so it's very versatile. Buttons are very tactile and Touch ID hole is a perfect placement so no interference when using the Touch ID to unlock. One of the best folio cases I've used.

This iPad cover is very nice looking, practical and fits perfectly. My Apple Pencil fits in the storage space nicely and charges the pencil when the flat side is facing the pad but not when the flat side faces the outside. It has a pocket that may be handy for some small flat items like a check or ID. It has a few positions available to set up the iPad for viewing.Good fit, good looking, and good features make this a great choice.

This is my second one. I loved the first one--wore it out (I'm pretty rough on stuff) and it held up very well so I was happy I could buy another one. Just enough space to slip in a few cards or a note or two. Hand construction for folding back and using as a stand. Definitely one of the best IPad cases I've ever had. Would not hesitate to buy it again. Well worth the price.

Fits snug on my iPad and the size is great, even though it holds the apple pencil too. I use the little front pocket a lot more than I thought I would for business cards and scraps of paper...My only complaint (and I want to give it like 4.75 stars) is that it doesn't latch into place snugly when you're trying to stand it up to watch a video... The bottom rests into a little groove, that doesn't actually hold the case stable, so it can be knocked over easily... It's not a big deal, but a small thing that keeps this from being the perfect iPad mini case.I would absolutely buy this again - in fact, I bought one just like it for my mother.

I primarily decided to buy this product because of the way it looks. It looks great. It is well-made. My new iPad mini fits it perfectly. All the buttons are readily accessible. There is enough depth on the grid to hold my iPad in a standing position; no slipping. I am not sure how durable it is since it is a new purchase. I am usually careful with my things so I expect this to last the life of my iPad. I am very happy with this purchase.

I was surprised at the quality of this cover! The feel is nice in my hands and fits the iPad mini perfectly. The openings are large enough to allow access to buttons without covering them up. The cover folds flat for hand held use and that was my deciding factor. The cover folds nicely and tucks in at an angle perfect for typing and the cover works with the sleep/wake feature of the iPad. The elastic strap is great for making sure the cover stays closed for travel. I've very happy with this cover.

My husband got this when he purchased his iPad. He has loved the standup feature on it, the place for the pen, and the durability and softness of it. It keeps your iPad safely in there and it’s slim and compact for traveling and taking places. Great quality for the price.
